Police: Teen shot dead by shopper wanted shoes

CINCINNATI — Police were studying mall surveillance video Tuesday in their investigation of the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old Ohio boy authorities say tried to rob a shopper in his quest to obtain popular, limited-edition athletic shoes.

Miami Township police said a man with a concealed weapon permit fired his gun after he and another man were accosted Saturday morning by three teens on a sidewalk outside the Dayton Mall. Police said one teen had showed a gun.

Jawaad Jabbar of Middletown died a short time later of a gunshot wound to his torso, authorities said.

The unwritten rule of no racial description says that the shooter and intended victim was black. No fodder for assorted communists and Occupampers.

And that presents a dilemma.

If some thug is going to kill me, I want to be looking in his eyes.

On the other hand, these punks are such bad shots, even a couple of steps would probably save one’s life.

But, in the end, I’ll go with Option 1, start unloading my CC into the punks.

Wild guess, the shooter was also black. If he weren't, the mall would be burning out of control by now.

On a related note, I've always like this one -- a bunch of easy marks are waiting in line to pay $200 a pair for some stupid intercoursing shoes; one of their siblings of the skin shows up to rob them (a potential haul of thousands of dollars); someone waiting in line steps clear of the others in the queue, shoots the thug, and gets back in line. When the police arrive (I'm sure no one called 911 until the perp stopped breathing), no one can identify the shooter, who *never leaves the line*.

When my daughter was in the police academy,one of the thicker recruits had asked what do we do when we can’t get at our weapons because we’re wearing our seat belt? To which the instructor responded you’re driving a 3000 pound weapon.
