On December 20 the NAACP Legal Fund issued a press release saying the execution of NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos show the need for sensible gun control.
According to the release, we need also need to thoughtfully address untreated mental illness.
One thing the NAACP Legal Funds release said we dont need to do is to suggest a causal link between between these killings and the recent protests and activism focused on the serious issue of police violence against unarmed African Americans. They suggest that pushing such a causal link may escalate an already tense state through rumor and conjecture.

“NAACP: NYPD Officer Executions Show Need for Sensible Gun Control”
I mean, these f**king people. It’s like they just cant STFU and try to avoid more of America hating them.
You mean the same peaceful protests calling for random death to cops?
This narrative is from whitehouse.
Once again, the NAACP, like every lefty organization, in typical Pavlovian fashion, blaming the inanimate object. What can we expect from pigs other than grunts?
Their effing traitors
Wake up, America
Because by “gun control”, they mean a complete ban on guns. As always, except for the criminals and the self-appointed elite.
The NAACP, there is truly no cure for stupid..yeah, can’t blame the black guy for being a racist POS who shot two cops because they are cops..nah can’t do that..that would be putting actual blame on the SHOOTER..can’t do that cause he’s black and well, justified..so instead let’s blame the nasty ol gun
Yeah, if just one of those pedestrians he told to “watch this” was armed, they could have nipped this in the bud.
If we could just get rid of that raciss antique we could all live in racial harmony, have peace with Muslims, and move upward and onward to a progressive future filled with love and rainbow unicorns...
Yes, those very same ones. Sharpton should know, he lead one calling for death to cops (not their wording).
Well that’s the easy part.
If you have $$$$$.
You can buy stuff.
I would say “When people don’t have cars, there will be no traffic deaths”, but I would be giving them ideas-actually, I believe that the more radical already have that idea.
"If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun, Obama said in Philadelphia last night. Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. Ive seen Eagles fans.

Makes you like the Israel deal where if a terrorist kills they burn down the property of their whole family.
I absolutely agree with the NAACP, we need sensible gun control. That means putting guns in the hands of law abiding citizens, and taking them away from radical black Muslims.
But of course, that’s not what they’re talking about...
The possession of a handgun in New York State is limited only to those individuals who hold a valid Pistol License and are in possession of a registered handgun (one that appears on the license, indicating the specific make, model, caliber and serial number of the handgun).
They must mean the millions that voted for Obama . . .
A woman here in LA a few days ago killed four churchgoers while they crossed the street in Torrance..the woman was high on prescription drugs..maybe the “Gun Control” crowd thinks we should ban prescription drugs, or cars..because hey, no one is ever responsible for their actions, its always someone elses fault
NY City has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation.
It is next to impossible for a law abiding citizen without political connections to get a permit to own a pistol.
If lawbreakers and criminals were deterred by laws the two NY City cops wouldn’t be dead, Barack Obama wouldn’t be sitting in the White House and Eric Holder would be serving a life sentence in a federal penitentiary.
