Hours after two NYPD officers were shot and killed, Patrick J. Lynch, President of the New York City Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, said there was "blood on many hands," including Mayor Bill de Blasio and people who have recently protested against police violence.

Lynch previously did himself and police officers elsewhere no favors when he basically said that if Eric Garner couldn't breathe then he couldn't speak and say "I can't breathe" several times, even though it seemed from the footage that Garner's pleas were getting fainter and fainter.
Patrick Lynch previously saying what he did: he isn't a medical examiner, but he plays one on TV?
all members of the NYPD police union should now file a class action suit against de Blazio and Sharpton and others for incitement to commit murder of police officers
Patrick Lynch needs to show composure - if anyone does it should be him.
He also stated that after the funeral’s of these officers, those responsible would be held accountable.
Not sure what that meant as the killer is deceased. Unless he plans on going after the Sharpton’s and such. Not sure what can be done (if anything) from a legal standpoint.
If Lynch made those statements, and I believe you are correct, that demonstrates clumsy public relations, and makes a volatile situation that much worse.
Save those remarks for when you’re at home behind closed doors, not in front of cameras and a microphone.
Do you really want to go down that road?
Please think ahead before you say things...
Sure let's not mention how Obama, Holder, Sharpton and Wilhelm incite people by perpetuating lies.
Unbelievable.
I am no fan of Sharpton by any stretch of the imagination, but if Lynch were to trod this avenue of thought and act on it, it would open him and other cops up to the same thing as he would have no retort to that.
please think before you write such things
You really need to think before you write such nonsense.
You must focus on Pat Lynch AND Obama, Holder, Sharpton and others just as much, as none of them are without rebuke.
I will say it again, I am (for example) no fan of Sharpton by any stretch of the imagination, but your Red Herring doesn’t help the cops in New York any way in this (Unbelievable).
Secondly, if Lynch is to hold his position, he needs to remember that he is in either an elected position or is appointed in some way, and that means he needs to hold himself to a high standard -— even if Sharpton won’t hold himself to a high standard.
I thought the (Garner) autopsy stated there was no chokehold.
Police put their lives on the line, daily, in their line of duty. Al Sharpton does not....and had/has NO business holding protest rallies with rallying cries of killing cops...or, anyone. That is NOT “justice”.
The minute those chants began, Al should’ve shut it down. He did not.
Please explain where I was wrong, as what you wrote was easily exposed as being just junk - and yet you posted it anyway.
I understand the police union’s anger. Unlike the people whose a$$ deblasio kisses, they will not commit barbaric, subhuman acts.
Secondly, if Lynch is to hold his position, he needs to remember that he is in either an elected position or is appointed in some way, and that means he needs to hold himself to a high standard - even if Sharpton wont hold himself to a high standard.
Secondly, if *DEBLASIO* (*HOLDER* *0Bomba*) is to hold his position, he needs to remember that he is in either an elected position or is appointed in some way, and that means he needs to hold himself to a high standard - even if Sharpton wont hold himself to a high standard.
Have you called for DeBlasio to hold himself to this “high standard”?
I did not see one media outlet that did not report it as being anything other than a chokehold, as this report by Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, a plethora of print outlets, etcetera, went on as such ad nauseum - reporting it as a chokehold long after the autopsy came out.
Secondly, I thought the cop said he did a wrestling move.
If he wants to wrestle, then go into professional wrestling.
sorry , I’ve got to shut down and go to work now
How then could anyone accuse others of inciting things and yet say that the cop who did the chokehold didn’t incite things?
I say that the correct course I s to say (which I am) that it would be better to say that neither side incited things - and thus be fair to both the cops and the protesters.
You and others should say the same.
It wasn’t a chokehold, which was one of the reasons the grand jury found no bill. It was a headlock, to get Garner off of the other cop he was attacking. He was released as soon as they pulled him down and then cuffed, which was when (because of his weight, asthma and pre-existing heart problems) he started having breathing problems. They called for help, and the ambulance was there within 4 minutes.
