By most accounts, he was an incredibly arrogant ####, among other unflattering adjectives.
When his former classmates at Princeton and Harvard were interviewed, certain words kept repeating. One was a nice thing -- that he's very smart. The others, not so much...

(Very old joke.)
“...several fellow classmates who asked that their names not be used described the young Cruz with words like abrasive, “intense,” strident, crank, and arrogant.” Four independently offered the word creepy,
If you COULD find anyone at “O’s” alma mater, maybe that’s the way they’d describe HIM!
It’s good to know both things actually!
I am glad that even smart liberals acknowledge that Cruz is smarter than they are !
And I am also glad that all the liberals he attended school with thought he was an ASS!
That tells me pretty much all I need to know about Cruz!
GO CRUZ!!!
Shocker, a bunch of liberals didn’t like him.
Hell, I like him even more after reading that article.
Arrogant, is that like uppity?
I’ve heard that it is a hate crime to call Obama “uppity”.

It's not just them, there is just as much chance this is the work of the GOPe.
This is good, it means the media are now scared s-less of Ted.
I said yesterday that Cruz had better be prepared to see this petty sniping at him for the rest of his life.
The libs and the GOP-e elitists are afraid of him and so they are resorting to any desperate actions (like this) they can find.
Yes, I can’t seem to recall an equal amount of curiosity about Obama’s days at Harvard Law, or Columbia, etc.
All lovers of the status quo are scared of him.
Well this is just the beginning of the media hunt on Cruz. He will be getting more of this as the months get closer to 2016. He is a danger to the establishment. They don’t want any conservative that wants to change the norm in DC and the nation.
Alan Dershowitz - Ted Cruz One of Harvard's Smartest Students
If anything, go with Alan Dershowitz’s assessment of Cruz. “one of my finest students.” I just want one professor from either Columbia or Harvard to come out and say what they thought of Obama. I’ll settle for one professor from Occidental
Arrogant yes, smart not so.
The smear begins ...
Expect a blockbuster expose in the New York Times about the incident in first grade when Cruz pulled a little girl’s pigtails and called her a “poopy-head,” thereby demonstrating what would evolve into his misogynist “war on women” attitude.
Then there was that time in junior high when he and a companion of questionable character went to a fast food restaurant and got their meals served in styrofoam containers, a clear indication of his callous disregard for the environment.
Even as an Eagle Scout, he left hundreds, if not thousands, of old ladies standing at crosswalks, unassisted as they attempted to cross busy streets. And his den leader was an acknowledged heterosexual!
The man is clearly not fit to be president.
Yes, moderate talk show host (formerly Socialist) Michael Medved went to Yale Law School and has commented at times that he personally knew Hillary back then (the bio on his page just mentions he was there when Bill and Hillary were, I don't recall him ever mentioned that he personally knew Bill back then).

Yeah....I tried some Googling on Quora about its founders, who supports it - all that.
They pretty much covered [read hidden] who is behind it.
You only get innocuous statements by Wiki et al about a “user community” forum for questions and answers.
I might add that the real comment (as has been posited here in the thread) “At least Ted has classmates that actually remember him.”
Covert biased liberal hit piece, IMO.
Certainly well before any grades from Obama are disclosed. Guaranteed.
For liberals, telling things like they are = “arrogant”. In their world, you have to tell the right lies to be “humble”.
