Me too especially when I'm still wearing my work badge as I stop at the store on the way home from work. It's only a big deal to those who have an inferiority complex, see racism everywhere, or just generally have disdain for people who actually work for a living.

Wear half way decent clothes in a store and there’s a good chance someone will walk up and ask “Do you work here?”. It has nothing to do with race. He should have gone whole hog and lied that white men used to walk up to him and ask for a shoe shine followed by the phrase “Make it snappy, Boy”. The scattered remnant of people who still haven’t seen through him and are melanin obsessed would probably believe it. The rest of us would have a good laugh. No way I’d let that a$$hat touch my shoes (or hand him the keys to my car).
I was a valet one summer........what’s he got against us? Or is it that he’s got something against white boys earning some cash instead of stealing it?

Hey wookie - it's called being polite and helpful, but since mean and spiteful seems to be your default mode... I've helped countless people (strangers) get things from shelves, put away grocery carts, load things in their cars, change flat tires, etc.
Sometimes I've been asked, most times I've simply volunteered. Oh, and guess what all you lib lurkers - I do not keep score. I couldn't tell you if they were mostly men or women, but you try to hang a sexist label on me anyway. I couldn't tell you if they were predominantly young or old, what race, religion, sexual orientation etc. But you still try to call me racist, homophobic, islamophobic. All wrong lib-lurkers. It's simply being a nice guy, there is no hidden agenda or meaning behind it.
