I’m standing at the intersection of Dwight and Shattuck in Berkeley with my hands in the air, shouting, “Hands up! Don’t shoot!” It is the third night of protests over the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner and the grand juries’ decision against indicting the white policemen involved in each of these cases.
Surrounding me are students wearing Cal sweatshirts, young mothers with children, hippie types with gray ponytails, and a few middle-aged women like me. Although the crowd is sprinkled with brown and black faces, most of us are white.
The irony of being a white person mimicking a black person begging for mercy from a white police officer is not lost on me. But it doesn’t feel absurd or self-righteous; it feels like a welcome outlet for my anger and frustration.

And as far as being the descendant of slave owners, and feeling obligated, let me be the first to encourage her to donate all her wealth and belongings to the needy black family of her choice. God knows they exist in Oakland.
For my part i come from the Abolitionist side of my family and we all fought each other 150 years ago, and its over. We owe zip.
But she and her plantation owner ancestors can just keep on givin’. i see no reason for everyone else to take up her self imposed obligation.

I protest the disproportionate number of whites assaulted, robbed, and murdered by blacks.
I protest the inordinate sums of money earned by white people being spent to enable black people to sit on their asses all day long and plan how they're going to assault, rob, and murder more white people.
I protest the undue attention the media give to black "grievances" while ignoring the other side of the story entirely.
I protest the undeserved status to which black gangsters, thugs, and goons are elevated by the popular culture, when in fact these morons have done nothing to earn praise.
I protest the implication that, because I was born white and have learned a work ethic, I am "privileged."
I protest the unequal access blacks have to colleges, jobs, and promotions despite their clear lack of ability or effort in those areas.
I protest that every time there's a white-on-black incident, it's presumed to be the white man's fault, while black-on-white and black-on-black incidents are totally ignored.
I protest being held accountable for acts and institutions that were long since expired when my ancestors set foot in this country, while blacks aren't even held accountable for the egregious crimes they committed yesterday.
Finally, I protest being lectured on morality by some of the most amoral, corrupt, self-serving charlatans to ever top a soapbox.

I suggest that the Libtard under discussion is “willfully ignorant” rather than “irreparably stupid”
“Stupid is forever. You can’t fix stupid.”
Or, how a sanctimonious self-absorbed twit nursing her inner being and quest for literary relevancy creates another batch of spew for the liberal masses who don’t even have the brains to look into her background.
All this generates traceable press that she can use to inflate her web page and resume with bullsh!t provenance.
