I heard the despair of one of these business owners on the radio. He said he has nowhere to work and no way to feed his kids now.
I cynically suspect that working for a living to pay for one’s children is a concept lost on most of the thugs who destroyed this poor man’s livelihood.
It’s simply part of doing business, whether it be looters or lava. That’s why you buy insurance.
Looters have their hands full which means they aren’t shooting at you.
And blacks wonder why businesses are hesitant to locate in their neighborhoods.
So now we form “Justice for store owners”. And we go burn down the houses.

The protesters want to boycott Black Friday sales...they just found out they still had to pay money for stuff.
Just how many Fergusonions could have been helped personally with all the money this chaotic mess cost private citizens and the taxpayers. . . . . Heavenly Father, I pray that you intercede and provide relief for those innocent people who have lost so much and that people turn to you for answers. I did happen to note, while watching the riots on TV, ALL the perpetrators of the violence and destruction were democrats.

I hope nothing replaces the burned out businesses. The residents desire to live in a wasteland. We should not stifle their dreams.

And just exactly, why wasn’t the National Guard called out? If we don’t use the NG for anything but earthquakes, tidal waves, and hurricanes, we just keep on pissin’ away more and more tax money on an unreliable service. Replace the National Guard with autonomous civilian militias. They would get the job done without the bureaucratic BS.
This just destroyed all growth in Ferguson. It is forever “the riot town”.
The only way to save it is to unincorporate it.
