May G-d provide you and your family with what you need to live a decent life.
May you realize that there are people worse off than you, so that you can understand that G-d provides many blessing to everyone. I, myself, have learned over the years that this is important to do whenever I am feeling sorry for myself. It lifts the spirits, and provides an emotional means of starting to recover.
God is a God of love, mercy, goodness, loving kindness, righteousness, peace and far beyond our knowledge or understanding. All things are meant for good. Teaching us lessons, and certainly getting our attention. Pray for forgiveness , and be repentant, for our sins. God can do the impossible. Believe in Him, and pray in thanksgiving and gratitude, in Jesus name, amen.
May God bless you and increase your faith in Jesus name. God knows your heart. Amen.
Praying that you may find housing, even temporary, until something permanent cones along, and praying that you find a good job that will help you recover. Don’t give up! As hard as it is to ask others for help, please try to accept some from a church community near you who may be able to assist you in your immediate needs.
Prayers going up.
May God bless you and your family and meet your needs.
Praying that God will provide for you and your family’s needs!!
I don’t know what they have in Pa., but out here there is a program called Interfaith Hospitality Network that shelters homeless families in local churches until they can get back into housing.
Check it out there.
Haven’t read the whole thread, but give your general area and what kinds of jobs you are seeking and maybe things can be discovered. It’s the holidays and we all want to help our fellow FReepers.
Prayers up, of course.
Prayers lifted up for you and your family. It is always the darkest before the Dawn.
I prayed for you and your family. What a time to be facing this type of crisis. Otoh, God has, literally, every resource in the universe. The prayer of faith does not go unheard or unheeded. One thing that helped me during my darkest hour came from a book I read by Joanie Yoder called Finding the God-Dependent Life. She said,
“Praise Him now, for you will assuredly praise Him then.”
What she meant was, when you beseech God for deliverance, He will deliver you. After He does, it takes no faith, though certainly gratitude, to praise Him. But God-pleasing faith praises Him even in the midst of crisis—praises Him for the deliverance that is coming, and that is promised.
If that makes sense? It really helped me. Something about praising God for what He is going to do on your behalf, even though you haven’t seen it yet, gives real strength and hope.
Meanwhile, I will continue to pray.

Is there anything that could stay the eviction, even temporarily? Is there an amount?
May God the Father of Mercies bless you and your family.
You have my prayers for you all.
(Keep the Faith, my friends! We are the saviors of the Republic! Now and Forever!)

You have my prayers.
Prayers, of course. However, if you would provide even cursory detail then there may be FReepers who could help.
Is this where you’re going to go, to the in-laws? Where are you posting from? What is your occupation? I’m on the other side of the country and I’ll pray for you and your family but would like to do more.
Garv, I am praying for you, and will continue to do so. Use a free-access computer at the nearest library and look up the nearest offices of Catholic Charities, and Lutheran Social Services. They are great experts on aid and services, including available jobs in some locations. You need not be of either, or any religion. Also check out Angel Food Ministries to see if there is a location near you.
People are so generous at this time of year. Food, clothing and other donations abound. Scan your local paper while at the library to see what is going on in your locale to help those down on their luck. There are food pantries that let you shop for your needs, no questions asked.
Track down where Thanksgiving dinners are being served. Your hearts will be filled, along with your stomachs. Talk with people to learn of other resources that will help you. At our lowest times, God will reveal his abundance.
If you have school-aged children, register today for free/reduced price lunch services. The school social worker, counselor or principal will also be helpful.
My Grandma taught me that accepting a kindness is a gift to the giver, so don’t let your pride block your way. You will find a way to get back on your feet. May God richly bless you.
