I am a long time Freeper here to ask my fellow Freepers to pray for my family. I have not been posting, but lurking for the last couple years because life has been difficult to say the least.
I don't want to waste everyones time with a long sad story so I'll simply say things have hit rock bottom. My last hope fell through this morning and my family is going to be evicted from our home in three hours. My children are going to come home from school today to find out they are homeless.
Please pray for my wife and children and ask the Lord to protect them as we try to survive this difficult time.

Garv, while I understand about not wanting to get into the story, you do not allow us to be of help except by prayer (not knocking that power but God allows others to be his agents if they know what to do!) While I am praying for you, what are your resources? Can you move to where a job is? What do you need to live a beans&rice survival?

Prayed that God will intervene in this situation for you and your family.
Of course, I’ve already said the prayers. I hope you and your family find a place. Have you availed yourself of all the local social services? Asked local pastors about housing? You don’t have to answer my questions, they are just some posssible avenues of help. I am really really sorry for you all.
Keep GOD in your heart and mind. I pray good things will come your way, soon.

I’ll give you the condensed version. The company I worked for went bankrupt. I found another job and after about five months that company cut all thir operations in Pennsylvania. I started working a series of temp jobs, but that dried up. Because of the time I was out of work I exhausted my unemployment and the extended benefits were discontinued.
Meanwhile my wife had a serious health issue. We burned through all our savings and whatever money friends and family could offer. We cut everything, TV, internet, home phone, etc., but with work unsteady and my wife unable to work we fell behind. My landlord worked with us for a while, but now we’re two months behind with December right around the corner and he’s afraid he’s going to lose several thousand dollars if he let’s us stay.
Obviously, a place to live is the biggest issue. Other than that we’ve been living bare bones already.
Jesus, hear our prayers for this family! Send the Holy Spirit to each of them giving them your direction and strength. May each of them feel the love of God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the awesome peace of the Holy Spirit with them every minute today through this tough time. Find them safe shelter tonight. Let someone be their angel of peace over this stressful situation for it is a week of Thanksgiving and we seek to give the gifts YOU have given us to others hurting.
A church family is a great substitute for relatives at all times. Keep a Bible close and have passages of peace with you. I always had Psalm 23 in my wallet at these times as even though I have it memorized, stress caused me to not be able to remember it.
So you actually need a job. FReepers in the area perhaps could offer recommendations.
