Your car breaks down at the side of the road, you call someone for help and hear “I’m on my way and I’ll be right there to help”. Doesn’t that completely change the way you feel? Isn’t that comforting? Help is on the way! Hooray! All the more comforting when that help is coming from God in all His power, His omnipotence, His glory.
Seems so simple I’m embarrassed not to have figured that out on my own. LOL

Absolutely! Makes perfect sense. :-) I have been blessed by putting my sometimes fears in God’s hands. He has NEVER EVER disappointed me. I just have never thought about it in the way put forth by one more brilliant FRiend.
It was sure the breakthrough I needed and I’m glad you got something out of it, too. :-)
My Mom would be pleased, as well... if I told her. But I might not. Because then she’s going to insist she was right about a whole bunch of other things too, going all the way back to kindergarten or maybe even earlier and we wouldn’t want her to get big-headed, now would we? J/K

Prayer’s up for you and your family. My mother passed away last year and I had to give up the house. It has been hard on me but not as nearly as hard as on you and yours. I’m barely hanging by the skin of my teeth from time to time. Do you know of family, friends, church, etc., that can help?
