What did Presidents Hoover , Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?
This is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work. Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for Returning veterans.
In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!
Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, they could surely do it today. If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
Why, you might ask, can't they do this today? Actually the answer is quite simple. Hoover , Truman, and Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy politicians looking for votes!
Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes - 12 to 20 million illegal aliens are depending on it.
That’s racist
Yes but those presidents actually liked America.
As someone said on the radio: “If those 12-20 million people hadn’t paid their taxes, the Federal Government would find them, and they would pay.”
Couldn’t have been 13 million.
The brightest minds in the United States have assured us you can’t return 11 million.
Hate it when I’m right sometimes...
But they can’t answer the question “How did Mexico do it?”.
Eisenhower deported 1.3 million. Some idiot moved the decimal point, sent out a mass email, and had Snopes ridicule it. Now NO ONE believes any of it because of that idiot.
too bad none of those 3 built a border fence, to KEEP THEM OUT.
Doubtless, tens of thousands snuck right back over.
Since the population of Mexico was 32M at the time, I hope you'll understand if I find this number a trifle unlikely.
At the Time WELFARE did not exist, no free stuff was available, they were on their own, now we are screwed unless we ABOLISH WELFARE. Most would leave voluntarily if we closed the cookie jar
We put on a man on the moon. We can build a danged fence and deport however many illegals there are here. Mexico managed to transfer millions from their country to ours; we can transfer them back. Besides, once we get tough on illegals and start deporting, many will self-deport.
Anyone who says “we can’t” is really saying, “We don’t want to.”
It costs far more to let them stay than to deport them.
Sure - But they weren’t raised to hate America.
I’ve been saying it for years. We pay to allow them to stay here or we pay to send them back. I say send them back. It’ll be cheaper in the long run.
“It costs far more to let them stay than to deport them.”
Democrats think someone spending welfare is a net positive for the economy; they don’t care who pays for it, but they (and many Republicans) want these illegals here to rent housing, fill classrooms, and buy groceries.
Without illegals, whole sections of the country would be de-populated, and the political/government worker class won’t let that happen. American taxpayers will get the bill, but our political/government worker class will continue to get paid.
Yes, Ike removed 1.3 million and our borders were kept safer for years as a result. The fact is a large number were sent home which was quite a feat at the time.
It doesn’t cost pennies to deport these people. No landlord can rent to an illegal. No employer can hire one. No bank can open accounts. No government can give food or succor.
Gone in three months.
13 million seems pretty improbable even with today’s logistics and transportation.
