House Republicans sued the Obama administration on Friday over its implementation of President Barack Obama's health care law, saying he had overstepped his legal authority in carrying out the program.
GOP lawmakers filed the lawsuit in federal district court in Washington the morning after Obama announced unilateral executive actions to expand protections for millions of immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally. While Republicans complained that Obama had unconstitutionally exceeded his powers with those actions, the suit filed Friday did not address immigration.
One Republican official said party leaders are considering amending the suit to include Obama's actions on immigration, a change that would require approval by the GOP-controlled House. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to describe internal Republican deliberations.

Is it so strange that during t6he AMNESTY treason, the Republicans would rather suddenly find ObamaCare the #1 issue to attack ???
More likely the courts will throw it back to Congress saying don’t ask us to do your job.
The GOP should impeach and defund ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE
BUT .... they are EXEMPT and do not really want it changed.
This is playing out like a bad George Lucas Star Wars movie...more delays - court actions - let’s talk about - form a committee...
Hey Congress - IMPEACH OBAMA and his entire administration - put all things on halt per passing laws...let the govt agencies run as they are suppose to be with the same laws to keep them in balance - and wait until 2016 to elect a new president - in the mean time, try, convict, and imprison Obama, his wife, the Biden’s, and the rest of his administration - even those that had the sense to leave (Hillary, Rahm, Holder, Learner) and state a point that socialism will NOT BE TOLERATED in this nation!
Obamacare became the law in March of 2010.
Will it take Republicans another 4½ years to sue Obama over his unconstitutional amnesty?
Exactly what I was thinking ...
You are totally correct. Impeach and imprison!
No, the House Republicans did not she Obama. The House of Representatives sued Obama.
Notice how when the Democrat controlled Senate does something on a party line vote it is still reported as an action by the Senate but when the House does something on a party line vote it is just those pesky Republicans acting up again?
The Republican leadership does not want to repeal ObamaCare or stop his illegal action concerning the southern invasion of America.
I wish the conservative pundits would realize that there is no difference between what the fascist democrats want and what the fascist republican leadership wants, no one difference.
They are all fascist, one world, new world order fascists.

It does seem odd.
LOL...assuming they have any degree of honor...
I’m only in favor of this as a two pronged approach. No matter what the fickle courts decide go ahead Congress and use your Constitutional authority to act. If the courts rule in Bammy’s favor and congress does nothing then they are totally impotent fools as they have shown to be.
“Is it so strange that during t6he AMNESTY treason...”
Exactly. Apparently, our Republican congress-critters weren’t watching Univison the other night...
they’re intermingled in this suit
You are probably right, but I have hopes (slim hopes) that this current suit took a little time to put together and that the he had to make the amnesty move before he could also be attacked for it. I'll give it until mid-January and if nothing substantive seems to be in the mill it will be a sign that we need to step up as citizens and start pushing D.C. until we hear it creak and groan from the pressure.
Not strange.
Obama made his amnesty move now to cut off the triumph the GOP had in the elections.
The GOP grabbed the headlines back by immediately suing the president to get the very unpopular ACA back in the news.
Not a bad move IMO to keep Obama from crowing for weeks about amnesty.
And since the rats control the senate of course it is reported that the senate did this or did that. The word bi-partisan might be added to it if the entire senate or say half of the republicans voted with the rats
