After a stunning few moments, one has to ask if Matthews’ “thrill up my leg” reaction to the early Obama has finally turned into a chill down his neck about a late-term president so detached and out of touch with political reality…and so apparently ready for a colossal fight.
Matthews went on a non-stop rant about Obama’s deafness and determination — his deafness to the loud voice of an electorate angry over his policies, and his determination to push ahead with executive orders granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.
Nationalreview.com points out the direct hits Chris Matthews landed on Obama’s apparent indifference to the will of the American people:
“There’s something in this guy that just plays to his constituency, and acts like there’s no other world out there,” the MSNBC host lamented. “And that’s going to be a collision at the end of this year like you’ve never seen. I do believe it’s will be waving a red flag in front of the bull. I think Mitch McConnell’s headed for a fight with the president.”

While I won’t argue that there is something psychologically wrong with him, I don’t think that’s the motivating factor behind why he does the things he does. Are you familiar with the term ‘post turtle’? Whoever put him on top of the post is the one giving him his marching orders. I’m sure whoever it is, also has all the evidence on his dubious past to destroy him. Being exposed must be a constant worry. He’s nothing but a puppet who is way over his head and he knows it.
