My gosh he sounds like a "Blue Dog" Democrat in this, something that has been purged from the ranks eons ago, his ole' boss "Tip" would be proud. He must be feeling that "his" party is on the verge of collapse if it continues in the direction of Lear Deader.
But Matthews fails in this, he came close, but he still doesn't get the narcissist we are dealing with and what I learned recently. And that that is, the silver spoon get my way life the Leader has lived. No one has ever said no to him, other than is spouse perhaps, and no, he hardly ever voted in Ill or voted present ditto that in the Senate. It is that part he missed which should have been his area to learn how to wheel and deal.
