On Thursday, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said it is time for a Republican-led Congress to move an immigration bill forward, so long as President Obama doesn't "burn himself" by enacting executive amnesty before the end of the year.
-snip-
Referring to immigration, Boehner also said that "it is time for the Congress of the United States to deal with a very difficult issue in our society." He noted that immigration has become a "political football" over the last ten years and said it is his personal belief that "it's just time to deal with this."

Close the borders for 5 to 10 years and then get back to us.
No kidding. And during that ten years, round em up and head em out.
Donohue has the look of a goblinesque demonic troll. Hideous soul manifested live. This man is an enemy of the country.
Boehner knows shamnesty is going NOWHERE in the House so I have no idea what his plan is. He has about 15 members incoming, very few of whom ran on amnesty, most of whome actively opposed it.
Good luck getting reps like Ratcliffe or Rouzer to vote yes on amnesty. Heck, he’s going to have trouble convincing the new reps from blue New York to go along with him.
The GOP has a brand problem with ordinary Americans.
If it throws in with the Left and Big Business to unleash millions of low income illegals as minted citizens in this country, history will not be kind to it.
Just say “NO” to amnesty!
Boner falling into the trap right on cue.
Deport 20+M
Seal the Southern border.
Enforce existing immigration laws.
That’s how you “deal” with immigration, John.
He got his daily talking points from Rove, I see.
The only “reform” we need is to enforce the existing immigration laws.
It used to be to come here, legal aliens had to have a sponsor who was responsible for them financially.
Time to return to the rule of law.

Reform? Reform? How can you “Reform” that which you do not enforce? This whole Immigration Reform thing is akin to the Temperance Movement making bars put marks on the shot glasses to ensure a full measure. Horsesh!t
here comes amnesty
Hispanics make up 10% of eligible voters and 8.5% of votes cast in 2012.
Non-hispanic Whites made up 72% of eligible voters and 74% of votes cast in 2012.
Tell me again why the Citizens of the USA and member of the Republican Party MUST pander to Hispanics and encourage the violation of law and the destruction of the rule of law in order to capture the Hispanic vote?
Hell, in Texas 44% voted for the Republican Governor. Of course he leans toward Amnesty, but at least 25% of the Hispanic Vote is anti-Illegal.
Folks need to start calling these "Republicans" LIARS. They are not seeking the favor of the Hispanic Voters.
They are seeking the favor of the US Chamber of Commerce.
Confront them and call them LIARS at every opportunity.
AND THEY ASK ME WHY I AM SO CYNICAL... When will states start to form Infantry Divisions and get the dang CWII started? Never?
Sure, okay.... Start by Sealing the GD Borders! it ain’t rocket science you morons!
Yeah Boner, I can imagine how you and your fellow republiCrats will ‘deal’ with immigration.
EXEMPT Boehner has just micturated in face of the GOP voters
following the lead of his Master, Obola-the-Undocumented.
They MUST, and WILL CLOSE THE BORDERS FIRST!!!
