A majority of voters? Meh! One judge will flush the will of the people in a pen stroke.

||||||||||||The measure was agreed upon by most politicians in the Legislature: Democrats and Republicans from rural-agricultural, suburban, and urban areas all supported it. But, even in heavily Democratic Multnomah County, it failed two-to-one.
More than $600,000 was invested in the yes side, while under $100,000 was invested in the no side.|||||||||||||||||
******** So those rejecting drivers licenses for illegals were outspent by 6 to 1 ratio

More Oregon election commentary:
Yesterday, his states voters rejected a bill to provide drivers licenses to illegals it lost by a margin of 68 to 32, with more votes cast against it than were cast in favor of any candidate. It lost big in Democratic areas and lost in Republican areas.

This means that the GOPe’s Illegal Alien Amnesty is totally supported by Americans.

Again Oregon voters show their disconnect from who they put in office. This bill to allow illegals to be licensed was the governors brain child. The corrupt governor was re-elected on the same ballot.
To: dennisw
Quick, find a Fed Judge — This large vote margin is prima facie evidence it is unconstitutional.

If Oregon can do this, why can’t every other state follow suit?

Thanks, friend. Unfortunately we were not able to oust the governor or stop the approval of marijuana.

Oregon Voters Overwhelming Reject Driver's Licenses for Illegals --- by 66.7% to 32.5%They may not be smart enough to pump their own gas but they did have enough brain cells to figure this out. Way to go!!
To: DIRTYSECRET
Doubt it - they don’t all make it into print; we don’t see them all; and “hit and run by illegals” is probably not a statistic collected by the DOJ Bureau of Justice Statistics.

Doesn’t matter what voters vote on state issues anymore. A blackrobe oligarch can come along and say “equal opportunity” or some other nonsense gobbledygook and overrule a vote of the people.
