There’s no way she’ll resign. People like her have no shame.
She’s term limited and only has one year left, I believe.

While Parker is now backpedaling on her unconstitutional sermon subpoenas faster than a dyslexic cyclist in the Four de Trance, she is, nonetheless, pushing ahead like Lance Armstrong on steroids with her unlawful subversion of Houstons citizen petition process (arbitrarily tossing out nearly three-quarters of the already validated petition signatures needed to put her utterly insane gender-neutral bathroom bill up for a vote by the very people whose privacy it sexually assaults). That is one HELLISH "sentence." Our side needs to write and edit better if we are to convince others of our cause.

Texas is a politically schizophrenic state; it's a historically liberal dixiecrat state that thinks it's a red state. The LBJ and Bush dynasty liberals along with the illegal importing ag-lobby and “minimum wages should equal indentured servitude” crowd still rule over texas. They are basically a miniature version of mexico, complete with an oligarchy rule.
So who cares if a texas city has a lesbian mayor, as long as their leader “capt. hairspray” perry keeps that border wide open, and jumps to Neito's every whim.

Recall the mayor and fire the city attorney with extreme prejudice. Or, it’s 3S time in Texas.

So we can go online and see how many sex offenders are in our neighborhoods but we give them free rein to roam bathrooms designated for women and little girls?

I thought Texans were a rugged, straight shooting ''don't mess with us'' crowd and I mean that sincerely. For cryin' out loud up here in The Peoples Republic of New Jersey this bitch would be hailed as a hero. Don't you folks in The Lone Star State have a more.. um, ‘’direct’’ way of handling low-down varmints like this woman?

She should’ve been tossed out LAST election after the crap she pulled with the red light camera racket. She renegotiated the contract with the firm in their favor to try to prevent the citizens from “breaking contract”. She did what she could by any means necessary to keep it off a ballot (just as she did with the trannies in bathroom referendum to overturn her action).

... the citys lawless disqualification and rejection of valid petitions filed by voters to challenge the law... SO let me get this straight. This so-called mayor ignores the law to force the implementation of...the law, that everyone must follow.
Lots of ferrous oxide in that irony. Rules are for fools.

I dont care whether youre Republican or Democrat, conservative or progressive, this should shock and infuriate you. If Parkers allowed to get away with this while Democrats are in control, whats to stop Republicans from doing the same thing when they run the show? The author may have lived in Houston but he doesn't understand the local politics. The next mayor won't be a Republican just as the past mayors were not Republicans. Additionally, the next mayor will be selected by the Downtown business partnership just as the previous mayors were.
Our open elections do permit challengers (Democrat and Republican) but any time a Republican actually gets close to challenging the office, we are told that it is a "partisan" race. I've never voted for a winning mayor in this city.
Our next mayor could even be another homo (George Greanias). He's had a shot at it in the past. He weathered a sex scandal (surfing for "rent boys" from work as CEO of Metro on company time on company equipment) with support from the current mayor. It all depends on how much he's willing to play ball with the land developers and movers and shakers in this city.

Houston Mayoral elections are every 2 years, it’s up in Nov 2015 and this *itch is term limited.
An electable conservative Republican needs to be gearing up for the race NOW.
