White House Presses States to Reverse Ebola Quarantine
New York Times ^ | October 26, 2014 | MARC SANTORA and MICHAEL D. SHEAR

Posted on 10/26/2014 12:53:26 PM PDT by reaganaut1

The Obama administration has been pushing the governors of New York and New Jersey to reverse their decision ordering all medical workers returning from West Africa who had contact with Ebola patients to be quarantined, an administration official said.

But on Sunday both governors, Andrew M. Cuomo of New York and Chris Christie of New Jersey, stood by their decision, saying that the federal guidelines did not go far enough.

At the same time, the first person to be forced into isolation under the new protocols, Kaci Hickox, a nurse returning from Sierra Leone, planned to mount a legal challenge to the quarantine order. Despite having no symptoms, she has been kept under quarantine at a hospital in New Jersey, where she has been confined to a tent equipped with a portable toilet and no shower. On Sunday, she spoke to CNN about the way she has been treated, describing it as “inhumane.”

A nurse who had worked with Ebola patients in West Africa was placed under quarantine at University Hospital shortly after she landed at Newark Liberty International Airport on Friday.

The rapidly escalating events played out both privately, in intense negotiations and phone calls between federal and state officials, as well as publicly in the nurse’s pointed criticism of the New Jersey governor.

But in that time, two more states – Illinois and Florida – announced that they were instituting similar policies.

Federal officials made it clear that they do not agree with the governors about the need or effectiveness of a total quarantine for health care workers, though they were careful not to directly criticize the governors themselves.

There are not enough willing LEOs, IRS agents, park rangers, FEC administrators, EPA inspectors to stand between the Democrats party and a furious citizenry.

Considering the degree of logistical preparation upon the part of said furious citizenry and their near total lack of communications networks, I have my doubts about that.

AIDs was controlled only after thousands used it to commit suicide. It took how many years and how many thousands dead before the gay activists admitted that maybe the plague sweeping through the fairy community might have a lifestyle vector?

When you can make a valid argument for stating that the president of the United States is trying to make political capital out of a pandemic, then the #$%@wad belongs in prison, and certainly would justify a military coup. I recall something about "...preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic…"

EVERYTHING is now political; the means to the end result desired. This is what happens in Communist/Marxist revolutions.

The oath is irrelevant when those charged with upholding the Constitution and carrying out it's duties refuse to to do so.

Since Congress and the Judiciary are complicit with the regime in power, we are now where history teaches is an inevitable reality that few are willing to admit; that we the people have no civil recourse left to us, and we are in the process of being replaced - both politically and literally.

The clueless are those who continue to assert that this is all the result of incompetence and naiveté and that voting for more Republicans in the next election will save us.

The majority have no clue what time it is or what is about to happen to us on an ever-exponential devolution into oblivion unless a miracle occurs and the remnant manage to convince the nation to pull a Nineveh.

I'm not going to say why I disagree, but personal knowledge points to a contrary opinion. You might be surprised at the number and variety of Preppers.

I know, in my neck of the woods, it doesn't profit one to yell "I'm a prepper, and am ready to go..." There are too many Leftists locally who believe in chem trails, black lung from coal trains, the Gospel according to Gore, GMO foods and other fairy tales. That much concentrated stupid makes one careful about who you tell.

Depends.

How many of our people are already conditioned by decades of demonization by Obama's party that all woe is the fault Christian Conservatives? Whenever a ruling class of a nation demonizes a segment of their population, without historical exception - those people are criminalized and eliminated by the same ruling class, to the applause of those who succumbed to the indoctrination.

In a time of privation and misery, history teaches children will betray parents for a mere promise of bread. In such circumstances, money and provision trumps patriotism - and we are already in short supply of that virtue when the shelves are full and beer is plentiful.

Do not underestimate the fact that the MarxoFascist cabal now in power is fully aware of that fact of human nature and history. Especially a regime hell-bent on fundamental transformation.

Please don't be naïve. Obama already has his excuses if things go bad. He can blame Republicans for not giving him enough money, he can blame Bush for not having left enough money for him to work with through his term to prepare for catastrophes such as this, and if the disease winds up hitting minorities most, it gives him even more fodder for helping all minorities preferentially because even in disease they get it worse. Whites, because of their skin color, have everything better in life. Ebola throughout the country will help make his point for him and further entrenches his liberal policies to fix it.

That’s ridiculous. The gay activists were forced to admit it before a lot of people croaked. In fact, most of them admitted it up front - it was called a gay disease as far back as what? 1982 - 1984 or 85. Early 80s, anyway. NYC closed down the bathhouses very quickly; not so California. Of course, they also claimed it would kill the heterosexual community but we all knew that was a lie.

Well of course O wants them to reverse the quarantine. How is Ebola supposed to spread out of control if we keep controlling it?

New York, New York
(Obola style) v.2.0

Start spreading the ooze
I’m coughing away
I want to infect part of it
New York, New York

These African shoes
They are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it
New York, New York

I want to pass out in that city
That doesn’t sleep
And find I’m quartentined still
Top of the heap (of dead bodies)

My E-bo-la blues
They are melting away
I gonna make a pan-dem-ic
In old New York

If I can take it there
I’ll take it anywhere
It’s up to you
New York, New York

I'm not going to say why I disagree, but personal knowledge points to a contrary opinion.

If you truly understood the Biblical standard for "prepping" (about which I wrote a book), you would not be so confident. There was an annual muster, an evacuation drill, storage of a year's worth of food for the entire nation, and one year out of seven was to be spent learning to live off the land. Then there was the Fifth Commandment, from which we are so far that it is almost not worth the explanation. Then there is the matter of national unity, of which preppers have not a clue.

You might be surprised at the number and variety of Preppers.

No.

Helping a level 4 contagion spread by refusing quarantine would fit perfectly with those in his regime who think the planet is overpopulated with useless eaters.

Don’t worry. Panty Waist Cuomo has just revised the “quarantine” Procedures for NY.

Now the person can quarantine “at home” for 21 days with full contact with family and friends. Health workers will check their condition “twice a day”.

Why bother.

“Both” parties are conspiring to import replacement citizens. U.S. citizens must be displaced/diluted so that the self-serving and the communists can consolidate their power.
