Love how lefty doctor that did not care about infecting others running around NY bowling, is a do-gooder but Christian doctors who have self quarantined and remained in their houses are dangerous brain-dead idiots causing harm that need to be stopped in past articles.
This is why yelling “fire” in a crowded theater is illegal.
Causing public panic is illegal. Willful negligence is a crime and this doctor’s assault on the public’s safety should be at least faux prosecuted.
Instead, we have the media court of public opinion, desperately trying to shield this doctor’s behavior from the court of public opinion.
I asked this yesterday and I will ask it again today: It is know that Ebola affects the brain in the late stages and those infected can become “runners,” is it possible that in some people it is affecting areas of the brain that would otherwise discourage such stupid appearing behavior? Is this wanderlust we see actually an early symptom of infection?
Which in tribal Africa would have caused an infected person to wander away from the tribe and potentially stop the infection before it spread.
Which ...if this is the case, then yes, mandatory quarantines is required.
Is this guy in Doctors without borders? If he is, aren't most of them do gooders and idealists? I remember Rachel Corrie too. Another idealist.
Sorry AP. Exposing people to third world diseases does not make a “do-gooder”. It makes an ***hole.
Backfired ¡
I don’t think he will be winning too many people over with hugs in the near future.

By his actions upon returning home there is a serious flaw in the Doctors’ do-goodisim.
Heart in the right place but a serious medical flaw in that his head is located up his ass.
Obama and the CDC are the real ones at fault for this, contrary to the leftist excuse that there is nothing within Obama’s authority, that is garbage, because there is. Either a commercial travel ban or a quarantine port for incoming travelers from infected zones should e set up. The Ebola cases we have had in the U.S. were unnecessary, and worse, it puts loads of expense on others to treat Ebola patients. Plus we have flu season now and flu people need help too. What’s worse is possible confusion between Ebola and flu symptoms. I mean really, if liberals are good at anything, it is wasting resources, an finding the hard way to get a task completed.
He did good for Barry.
I love how these feel-good, hugger doctors run off to third world, pest-filled, hellholes to treat people free of charge when there are people HERE who would be allowed to DIE in parking lots if they couldn’t pay for treatment. Or-said humanitarian would sue for their homes or bank accounts if they owed for treatment!Doctors Without Borders sure believe in different countries when they catch a disease, don’t they? How many American kids get free cleft-palate surgery, or free ANYTHING from doctors?(not counting generational welfare people)? Stay home and open a free clinic HERE. NO SYMPATHY for those who GO where there is disease and catch it. Doctors, missionaries, whoever- you knowingly go where there are plagues STAY THERE when you catch it. DON’T bring it home. You knew the risk, you cared more about those people than yourself when you decided to go- STAY where you wanted to be. Make it a ONE WAY TRIP to third world pestholes with diseases the rest of us don’t want. Keep it there, isolate IT and everyone who has it. Air drop stuff if you must, but it’s not about ‘feelings’ when its life and death.
Sharing the Liberian experience with the citizens of New York and saving the price of airfare to Monrovia. What a nice guy.
Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
