A doctor in New York City who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea tested positive for the Ebola virus Thursday, becoming the citys first diagnosed case.
The doctor, Craig Spencer, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday and placed in isolation while health care workers spread out across the city to trace anyone he might have come into contact with in recent days. A further test will be conducted by the federal Centers for Disease Control to confirm the initial test.
While officials have said they expected isolated cases of the disease to arrive in New York eventually, and had been preparing for this moment for months, the first case highlighted the challenges surrounding containment of the virus, especially in a crowded metropolis.

If he survives he should be charged with reckless endangerment.
We don't even know who paid for Dn\uncan's plane ticket. Our government knows but they won't tell us.
Whoever paid for Duncan's ticket probably paid for making sure his family is sequestered.
It is not airborne yet. Hope it never gets there. Right now it is the droplets that scare me.
Airborne virus means that by itself it can be airborne. This virus so far shows no indications of being that. Hell... The flu doesn’t even do that.
It is like the flu or a cold in how it can spread. Scary sh!t.
If it goes airborne we are F’d.
Right now there are precautions you can start taking.
Bleach
Sterno
N95 or 100 masks. Lots
Non vented goggles
Gloves. Lots
Food stored: rice beans peas lentils canned meats
A small rocket stove (you can make one from what you already have. Hit YouTube and look for it. Vermiculite type is the one I recommend. Portable)
Safe water
A pump sprayer to decon anything, anyone entering your home. 10% bleach or 100% sterno wipe down.
Tyvek suits, rubber boots, small trash bag secondary head covering with mouth/eye holes and duct tape if the shtf and we have to bug out.
Absolutely. It's clear to me that hussein is behind this just as he was in Dallas. The goal of the regime is to establish a caliphate and this is part of his strategy to destroy America.
Earlier that day, he went on a three-mile jog and took the 1 train to the High Line garden - a popular tourist destination - before eating out at a restaurant.
Peter King is right. It has mutated and already is. Of course, hussein has ensured the obola has hit major population centers, first Dallas, a 'RAT city but surrounded by Conservatives, and now New York, 'RAT within and all around.
How do they know the Uber driver is not at risk? He was driving a confirmed ebola infected passenger for pete’s sake! How would they know now that he will not come down with it at a later time, just like the doctor did? That is absolute BS! What if the doctor was sweating after bowling and shook the drivers hand? What if he sneezed and the driver breathed the tiny particles? These politicians will say anything to avoid making Obola and the rest of the DNC Hitler youth look bad! Oh and where is that eminent expert on ebola, the left wing political hack lawyer csar?
“Isnt there something in the hippocratic oath about first doing no harm? “
That sorta slipped his mind as he was lacing up his bowling shoes.
I find his behavior astonishing in it’s lack of good common sense.
.
N95 and N100 masks aren’t going to help much.
The Ebola virus is 0.08 microns. The N95 mask filters down to 0.3 microns and the N100 mask, 0.1 microns.
“I find his behavior astonishing in its lack of good common sense.”
That does not surprise me at all. I have had many doctors as clients who were brilliant physicians, surgeons etc, but could not balance there check books! Brilliant professionals and functional idiots.
Oh good Governor Frogface says that no one is at risk. That’s comforting!
What about the exchange of paper money?

According to the Daily Mail, the Doc visited a restaurant. Are the servers and dish washing part of the kitchen in danger?
Earlier that day, he went on a three-mile jog and took the 1 train to the High Line garden - a popular tourist destination - before eating out at a restaurant.
The restaurant info has been around for hours here on FR.

Show me!
Thanks for the ping!
Yrs. I was on the 1 train last night at rush hour. And this morning at rush hour. Tomorrow morning and continuing for the foreseeable futute, I’ll walk from Penn.
There was an article early on that reported that Duncan’s ticket was paid for by a company credit card. It was a round trip ticket. The name of the company was not the same as the one that he quit. Whether it was affiliated or not, I don’t know.
