This seems to have gotten only local attention, so by posting here they may benefit from the broader dissemination of their manifesto.
Actually there are advantages for an up-front approach to repeal 2A. All the politicians who say "I of course support the second amendment wholeheartedly, BUT..." would be flushed out into the open as being gun grabbers.
Mr. Moeller uses a common tactic to present his idea, he states that there are 30,000 "gun murders" in the USA!

It would fit right in with the Democrats’ proposed repeal of the First Amendment.

Well, there should have been 30,001, Mr. Moeller.

Perhaps Mr. Moeller should consider moving to s society in which the ownership of guns by private citizens is prohibited—Say North Korea.

Repealing the 2nd Amendment will not make God change his mind about granting us the right to self defense, nor the right to oppose tyrannical governments.

I’m wondering how to solve the “Clark Moeller problem”.
Perhaps a one-way ticket for him to go to North Korea, a Communist crap-hole where he would not have to worry about law-abiding citizens owning guns, would be satisfactory from his point of view as well as ours.
After all, they don’t got no stinkin’ Second Amendment to worry about there.

Stupid morons. 2A is a recognition of the natural law right to self defense. Even if they were to succeed in repealing it, the natural law rights are pre-political rights.

It's his right as an American. Just have your Congressman Jim McGovern (D-Havana) file the repeal bill in Congress and you're on your way.

Are they really so stupid as to think that outlawing guns would stop violent criminals from getting them or are they just afraid of an armed citizenry? My guess is both.

It develops arguments for repeal of the Second Amendment as the only plausible route out of the dilemma of gun violence.
And where there are no guns criminals will use knives. Ban knives they may use a car. Ban cars they may use a rope. Ban ropes and they may use their bare hands...
The gun grabbers are like most liberals, way off base. The problem is not the weapon, it is the wielder. And the reason so many wielders are so screwed up is the fault of liberals and the inroads they have made in their goal of turning this nation into a secular, self-centered, antidepressant-popping rathole. The problem is not the guns, but liberalism.

The second amendment does not give us a right, it recognizes our pre-existing right to be armed. Repealing it will not diminish our rights although we may well have to exercise it a bit to make it clear we possess this right. Fine with me.

Mr. Moeller's entire thesis errs (and fails pathetically) on the regurgitation of a common fallacy, to wit: re the Bill of Rights, the Founders were but temporary transcriptionists for the Creator.
In other words, statist scum: Come and Take Them !
