Reports coming in from Canada of shooting at the Library of Parliament. One shooter reported captured. Unconfirmed reports of one dead. Police looking for more shooters, but not sure if more.
Is that the new name for unicorns? Innocent Muslims?
People still aren’t awake yet regarding the Islamic push in this country....whoever did these shootings I doubt we’ll really be made known if they are muslim. I tend to think the guy they shot was muslim as why even question if “radicalized” or not? or that they know this was an Ilsamic attack.

Fortunately in this case it was not twitter but comments on the main story on the CBC website.
Although I shudder to imagine what they are letting loose on there could be much better.
It’s too big to make disappear, but they need time to write the ‘narrative’ and focus the ‘optics’.
I expected this news briefing would not reveal anything new rather to calm the people that they are on it and what was currently known they could reveal.
BTW The guy (Vickers head of security) who took down the shooter is a sharp shooter and had been pushing to arm all security in the Parliment.

Canadians sincerely have believed they are exempt from attacks....now they know otherwise.
You’re right they need to focus etc. but this did surprise them I believe. Although obvious they were on it immediately and prepared....still the public has had their head in the sand as do those in our nation.
Seems awfully similar to some guys that attacked a marathon not long ago.

Decided to only put two news feeds out of Ottowa as it has hard finding anything in other countries on the Breaking News. BBC doesn’t do news at the moment on their feeds exceot for a BBC Radio News feed that was on Ebola. There is no station on radop here in the US on it.
We can only hope the adage about mugged liberals holds true. I think it will. If Canada wants to survive, it better. I don’t have any hope left for us. Too many willfully ignorant people.

RCMP and CSIS are surprisingly good at finding and neutralizing threats. The best-known were the “Toronto 18” plot that was disrupted in 2006 and the plot to derail a passenger train that was broken up last year, but virtually all of the work they do takes place with zero publicity (as it should be).
Yep...Vickers took him down and without a moments hesitation to be sure....did his job well to say the least.
