In these unsettling times, it is strangely reassuring that Canadian official press conferences are as opaque and uninformative as ever.

I expected this news briefing would not reveal anything new rather to calm the people that they are on it and what was currently known they could reveal.

BTW The guy (Vickers head of security) who took down the shooter is a sharp shooter and had been pushing to arm all security in the Parliment.
