Troh plans to partially recover financially with a book written about her life, from growing up in Liberia, meeting Duncan in a refugee camp in Ivory Coast, Duncan's years-long quest to come to America to be reunited with his girlfriend and their 19-year-old son, and his death in an isolation ward.
"It will be a love story," she said.

Oooh...great point....maybe the Duncan *family* never even lived in the 0bola-infested apartment.
Lol....BUMP!
Now they know where to send the hospital bill.
It seems to me that that would be the only way for them not to contract the virus—if they knew in advance and were never there-interesting theory. The sugary love/sympathy story could have been totally fabricated—I don’t believe much of anything that comes out via the press or government these days.
Wasn’t he also on the cusp of a promising career as a rapper?
I won’t be buying the book or attending the movie, but I echo the sentiment in your post. Hundreds of people being monitored and who knows how much money down the drain due to this 1 incident.
I saw some of the Sunday programs, obviously the media has received their instructions to damp down the concern, and calm everyone down. It’ll probably work, if another case does not pop up.
I am still wondering about the African who became sick on the airplane and died? The CDC almost immediately ruled out Ebola - They wouldn’t lie about it would they? Did the CDC take names and addresses? Are the people being monitored just in case?
Well, now that the CDC has told everyone 21 days, they have to let them out of quarantine because they will look really bad once again, with all mixed messages they have been putting out. They will save face instead of quarantining them longer.
I hope none of these people get Ebola. Duncan has already given it to two people trying to save his life.
I suppose the 2 to 21 day period from “exposure” measures from the first day of exposure. Duncan’s girlfriend, like the nurses, were exposed to him multiple, consecutive days. I believe that exposure becomes more dangerous the closer the patient is to death.
If “only” two people become infected by Duncan it will be a small miracle. The comedy of errors leading to all this exposure is an embarrassment to our country. And we have no plans whatsoever to stop Duncan II from entering our country.
It was posted on FR that his VISA was supposed to expire on the 16th or today. Can’t remember which. Yes, may or may not be true but either way, how were they going to marry next week past adios date? Never mind, we all know how. Also, funny how she nor her family ever said a word about the marriage until much later. Louise said she hadn’t been in close contact with him so I’m taking that there was no raging hormones. Maybe she hit the reset button and was saving herself for the wedding night. The whole wedding story never made any sense.
This is the moment of false sense of security.
I am with you on this, I do not believe NONE of them will experience the effects of Ebola.
I had read that Duncan slept in every one of their beds..how the hell does someone with Ebola sleep in someone’s bed, puke like crazy in their toilet and NOT get sick..meanwhile Nina Pham wears all the proper gear and gets sick..either this family has some crazy Ebola free immune system or something fishy is going on here
The comments are very anti Duncan/throw up (Troh). I think America might be coming around. My supervisor is very young. At first she was quite uninterested about ebola. But as things got closer to south FL she understood how much risk her mom who is a nurse faces. Now she wants to hear about every new development and is outraged at obama’s refusal to shut down the visas. This is as Rush says a “teachable moment”.
Duncan probably contacted them before he left, said he had become in contact with someone with Ebola, and was on his way to America to try to be saved..and is the story about the pregnant woman even true..remember the story about how he got Ebola, that he was trying to assist the daughter of his landlord who got Ebola and died a few hours later, is that story even confirmed because I believe nothing that comes from the mouths of these Obama lapdogs
Exactly. And I am willing to bet that she is not even here legally.
More propaganda supporting the family of the infected illegal alien liar who may be a mass murderer in the near future. F* him and all of them.
Yeah Im surprised to see the comments on yahoo, considering that Yahoo is very pro Obama so you would figure the comments would be Pro Obama as well..these people are sick of this “Family” oh poor baby, she had to stay confined for three weeks..if this girlfriend slept in the same bed as Duncan how the heck did she not get sick..Im telling you, I feel it in my bones, this family was NEVER in that apartment..oh, and my spidey senses tell me that this family are here illegally, probably on welfare collecting our tax dollar funded food stamps
That judge will do his part to try to keep these relatives and the girlfriend out of the news cycle-after all, he got in a vehicle with them, spirited them away from the public eye, etc. He certainly doesn’t want the people of Dallas and the rest of the state bringing out the tar and feathers if one of them becomes ill...
After this kind of alley catting becomes commonplace, then all of a sudden we wonder why same-sex mock marriages manage to ride so easily on the equal rights meme.
It’s a matter of closing the barn door too late. Gays have a point that their alley catting isn’t any worse than heterosexual alley catting.
I vote for “something fishy”.
family or “family” or “”””””””””””family”””””””””””” more or less
