Ebola-stricken nurse Amber Vinson may have been showing symptoms of the deadly virus as early as last Friday - before she flew to Ohio for the weekend and then back to Texas.
The CDC made the shocking announcement on Thursday, after Miss Vinson was revealed as the second medical worker in Dallas to contract Ebola from the U.S.'s 'patient zero' Thomas Duncan.
On October 10, Miss Vinson, 29, may have had Ebola symptoms when she flew out of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport on Frontier Airlines Flight 1142 to Cleveland to plan her upcoming wedding, a health official said today.

Well as a too-early-to-be-conclusive comment, the early exposures to Duncan have not yet reaped infected persons. It is the people exposed in the later stages that seem to be at maximum risk.

Yes it is and if anyone catches it she should be prosecuted the same way AIDS patients are if they willfully spread the disease.

Selfish and stupid people. If anyone contracts ebola from her, she ought to be prosecuted for assault or even manslaughter if they die.
Remember Amber was cleared by the CDC to fly back. Still, that would be an early to middle stage I guess. I mean, Duncan was throwing up and everything while in that apartment and those people have not contracted the disease. I am glad for them but also surprised. Maybe they knew and were extra careful. But maybe, even HOPEFULLY, it is not as contagious in the early to middle stages.
She had to schedule the flight well before this was an issue. Nina was not in the news until Oct. 10. These nurses were not under quarantine. I do not think she thought it possible at that point.

Remember it’s not necessary for the pResident to stop air travel from west Africa. Congress can make a law right now. That is their job. No excuse for this.

Maybe. But it doesn’t seem to fit the cases I’ve read about so far. If she had symptoms last Friday, wouldn’t she likely have been much more sick by this point?
By following the link to this story, though, I did see that a maid whose brother works at the soup restaurant Nancy Snyderman went to was fired out of fear she may pass the illness, and the story also said the restaurant seems deserted now.

They were spirited away.....never to be heard from again!
Of course, our health officials never lie to us.
Well, they were there afterwards because the media was there filming it 24/7. But either they did greatly limit their contact with him from the get-go, revealing they knew more than they admit, OR it is not as easy to get in those early/mid stages. Or they were extremely lucky. I don't really go with the lucky theory.
She was irresponsible but so was the CDC. Poor girl was preparing gor ber wedding!
You are right we do not know. However, this particular group of gripers would have a hard time not adding to the list of offenses they blame on the hospital. If they get the disease, expect them to blame the hospital and expect Jackson and his pals in the media to be shouting it from the rooftops.
