The mayor of Houston, TX, has subpoenaed the sermons of local pastors and the speeches of local religious leaders to see what they have to say about homosexuality.
I fear Annise Parker has never read the Bible. If she wanted some sermons so bad, she could go to church, but I don’t know that she will. So I think we should help her out. You can get a copy of the NIV version on Amazon.com for $4.05.

We are getting close to the tipping point.
With 0bama importing Ebola and mayors calling for religious censorship, something is going to snap.
Many Americans will become increasingly desperate as they become incensed by government oppression and exposed to government patented diseases.
The elites cannot defeat a desperate enemy. The elites want a civil war based on race, income, ethnic background, or between police and the public.
If a civil war does erupt, the people must face squarely off against the government bureaucrats and government officials that support the tyranny. We will have to see what side the police will be on.

I was confused why the city attorney was using subpoena’s to get those sermons.
My church puts every single message on our website. You can go and listen, or watch in some cases, the entire sermon.
I know Grace Community Church has a dynamic webpage, and after about 2 minutes of searching found the “Watch Online” option, which gives you the option to go back and watch and/or listen to the sermons at what appears to be the past year.
Why use the “power of the subpoena”, when they have that information freely available?
Now, the NOTES of those sermons, which is what she was REALLY after, are not available that way.
But the actual sermons? They’re “public domain” now.
What is on the internet, is on the internet FOREVER.

Yes, we all need the Bible, but people like her will never understand until it is too late. Pray for her and those like her is all we can do.
She needs a copy of The Constitution, a copy of The Declaration of Independence AND a copy of The Bible.
Given that the first two are intended for a self-governing people, they are are useless without a thorough understanding of the third.
She would prefer free birth control...although why...I’m not sure.

I hope she pushes this to the max and tries to arrest those that do not comply.
Here is an idea. Take the sermon of a black pastor that condemns homosexuality in no uncertain terms and place the name of a white pastor on the sermon. See if she bites. When she tries to arrest the white pastor, have the new media and the black pastor there to be arrested as the author. The publicity will be great.
I cut right to the chase.
Sent an email to mayor@houstontx.gov and included the passage of Romans 1:26-27 in the message. Asked her if this is what she is afraid of seeing in these sermons. Told her that, if so, her problem is not with the pastors but with the Holy Spirit of the Almighty God which breathed the words to Apostle Paul to write for our edification.
People in Houston believe in the liberal view and always will.

Then after all that, he was beaten and whipped and nailed to a cross, for my sins and yours and this woman's also.
I don't agree with the stunt of inundating her with Bible's. What she needs is a loving, Christ like person to come along side her, and show her the true love of the true God.
I won't send her a Bible, but I'll pray that God will lead a person into her life, to show her his real love.
Heavenly Father,
I ask that you will lift up a special person into the life of Annise Parker. Someone you have grown with an exemplary amount of grace and mercy. I ask that you work in Annise's life, that she will see the real you and truly know what and who Jesus is.
I thank you for what you are doing and have done already in her life, and I thank you for the grace you continue to give me.
