You wanna know something funny?

I was confused why the city attorney was using subpoena’s to get those sermons.

My church puts every single message on our website. You can go and listen, or watch in some cases, the entire sermon.

I know Grace Community Church has a dynamic webpage, and after about 2 minutes of searching found the “Watch Online” option, which gives you the option to go back and watch and/or listen to the sermons at what appears to be the past year.

Why use the “power of the subpoena”, when they have that information freely available?

Now, the NOTES of those sermons, which is what she was REALLY after, are not available that way.

But the actual sermons? They’re “public domain” now.

What is on the internet, is on the internet FOREVER.

That's not what she was after. She doesn't care about the sermons or the notes.

Her objective was power and intimidation. She wanted those pastors to submit to and fear her authority. She wanted them to worry about what they say from the pulpit because of how it might affect the tax-free status of their church.

She wanted to press her fat thumb down and watch those high-n-mighty Bible-thumpers squirm.
