Can’t quit Mitt: Friends say Romney feels nudge to consider a 2016 presidential run

Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee and now the tacit head of the Republican Party, visited Iowa as part of a feverish nationwide tour designed to help the GOP take control of the Senate.
Romney is grappling with this question: If drafted, would he answer the partys call?
Former aides and senior Republicans say Romney appreciates the GOP masses crowing that he was right about issues such as Russia and health care.
But what really intrigues him, they said, are the vulnerabilities among top-tier candidates in the Republican field. If Romney moves toward a race, it would be because he sees a path to victory.
Its the market pulling him, said Kent Lucken, a longtime friend and adviser who accompanied Romney to Iowa. People look at Hillary as the likely Democratic nominee, and the party needs a strong leader who can stand up to her and whos been through the process.
Many Romney boosters believe that his window of opportunity will be in mid- to late 2015, should Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) or Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) ascend and party establishment types turn to Romney as a savior.
Hes the only qualified person to run this time, Chidester said. Mitt is a business genius. Thats why Ive listened to this tape three times. He had it all down he had Russia down, he had the debt down and all the other Republicans are novices by comparison.

I keep saying that the only two candidates that the GOP-e will allow are Jeb Bush, and if he makes everyone want to vomit, then Mitt Romney.
They will not allow a conservative to run, no matter how popular. The GOP-e will support Hillary before they will support any conservative.
Which is why we should all hope that Mitch McConnell loses his election. Because if he does, it gives conservatives a chance to take the next Republican National Convention.

Looking forward to the conservatives being smart enough to get behind Ted Cruz early, while the RINOcrats Bush, Huckabee, Romney and Christie split the primary vote four ways against him.

I saw this, he has been running for office for over 20 years and has won a single election for an office that he was basically booted from, with 34% approval as he turned it over to the other party, which makes one wonder why the left of the GOP is so devoted to him and the political agenda that the creator of Obamacare and gay marriage, and a passionate, lifelong proponent of abortion and the radical gay agenda would bring.
2016 would be the THIRD presidential cycle that he would queer, yet the left of the GOP is more focused on making Mitt President than actually winning the election, it seems to be all or nothing for the GOPe.
I think that just proves that Mitt was supposed to fundamentally transform the GOP into a liberal, pro-abortion, pro-gay, pro-socialist party that once and for all was rid of the conservatives, and their conservative positions.

We conservatives are in the minority.
People under 50 are more congenial to Hillary/Mittens then we are.
This country is no longer what it was in 1988.

The GOP made the grave error of nominating this moneyed POS once and the nation paid the price. He is sooooo competent that he lost to Obozo who was running for re-election as POTUS. The same Obozo who took Romneycare (a somewhat LESS radical version of same relabeled as Obozocare) national! The same Obozo who saw to it that Dodd-Frank became law, who blocked the Keystone pipeline, who appointed Sotomayor and Kagan to SCOTUS and a host of revolutionaries to lesser courts, destroyed the middle class economically and socially, gutted the leadership of the military, is an envirowhacko crank, who put in place a virulently anti-American foreign policy, and just as virulently anti-American domestic policies, etc,. etc., etc.. Somewhere in that universe of issues that I have stated or in the issues, I have not stated, there are enough policies that even a leftist turd like Mittens (or John McCain before him) could cobble together and drive Obozo back to his daddy's Kenya. But NOOOOO, all we got was this lousy T-Shirt and bumper sticker that say Vote for Romney! He's Rich!!!
Romney bought the nomination with Wall Street and K Street $$$$ and was effectively never heard from again once nominated except when he stuck his foot in his mouth pathetically yapping about the 47% and being interviewed about his inevitable election loss (since a sizable and growing part of the party base would not cast a vote for Romney even when he was running against Obozo.
Remember that Obozo's other nickname is Zero. In specific response to your post, Anything (even a million) times zero is still zero.
Neither one of them (or John McCain) was EVER worth electing. If you liked the last POTUS election result, nominate Myth again and see how much worse it will be next time even against the Arkansas Medusa. Those of us who merely voted against Romney AND against Obozo last time, will gladly persuade others to do the same honors against Myth Romney and Hillary Rodham Rodham in 2016. Try us!

We’ve coasted down hill for too long.
We need a Cruz now, and unless we get him and peel off some of the Leftist agenda already enacted, we just as well fold up shop as a nation.
We are quickly becoming a negative force for the world.
We either turn that around or just accept it. The last best hope for mankind failed. The end.
