Can’t quit Mitt: Friends say Romney feels nudge to consider a 2016 presidential run

Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee and now the tacit head of the Republican Party, visited Iowa as part of a feverish nationwide tour designed to help the GOP take control of the Senate.
Romney is grappling with this question: If drafted, would he answer the partys call?
Former aides and senior Republicans say Romney appreciates the GOP masses crowing that he was right about issues such as Russia and health care.
But what really intrigues him, they said, are the vulnerabilities among top-tier candidates in the Republican field. If Romney moves toward a race, it would be because he sees a path to victory.
Its the market pulling him, said Kent Lucken, a longtime friend and adviser who accompanied Romney to Iowa. People look at Hillary as the likely Democratic nominee, and the party needs a strong leader who can stand up to her and whos been through the process.
Many Romney boosters believe that his window of opportunity will be in mid- to late 2015, should Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) or Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) ascend and party establishment types turn to Romney as a savior.
Hes the only qualified person to run this time, Chidester said. Mitt is a business genius. Thats why Ive listened to this tape three times. He had it all down he had Russia down, he had the debt down and all the other Republicans are novices by comparison.

He would have been a million times better than Obozo.non sequitur. Mitt would not have done one thing to turn our Republic towards Liberty.
Mitt is rabid Statist. I reluctantly voted for him in 2012. I will NEVER again cast a vote for any RINO. Mitt would lose even worse to the RAT in 2016.

The other day he said he definitely wasn’t running. I thought to myself, “Dang, he’s running.”
His lips were moving, you see.

The real nudge seems to be coming from the voters. Don’t think Romney will run again since he is tired of some Republicans who couldn’t think in 2012 and are still sad mixed up individuals.
To: GeronL
Actually, Romney would have been WORSE than Obama, ironically, because the reaction by Republicans to oppose his liberal agenda would have been obliterated.

And in January 2013, we got all these stories about how Romney really didn’t want to run and felt forced into it. Enough with this BS. Its time to move on.

He’d have been a million times better for USA then enemy illegal alien But Romney didn’t show much interest in really campaigning to get the job, he had several really major issues on his side that ge either failed to raise of else did not push very hard. Basically, he lost an election that was his for the taking. We could discuss his policies forever and a day but if a candidate won’t run like he wants to win — then we need to find someone else who will.

I voted for this meatball the last time just to keep Obama out...I wasted my vote on him when I could have voted for a conservative...It WON’T happen again...

He wasn’t a million times better than Zero, he was Zero’s ringer. That was the only part he was to play, to lose to Zero and stop a Conservative nominee. Same part McQueeg played in 2008.
To: GeronL
If it looks like a conservative might win, he will run interference.Exactly...That's why they've got him on deck...To counter any conservative...He can't win and they know it...They rather lose to Hillary than let an anti globalist pro American politician win...
They've got a lot at stake here...Both parties are headed for the New World Order...They'll stop at nothing to get there...

This smacks of being a planted story.
To: greyfoxx39
He’s also a loser.
The GOP establishment will want him if Jeb Bush tanks.
It wants any one but a conservative.

If he runs again, I’m voting for Hillary to show the GOP what I really think of them.
I swore I’d never vote for that woman but Mitt would drive me to do it.

“He would have been a million times better than Obozo.”
We’ll never know how bad he could have been. He said he would be better for gays than Kennedy. He was for abortion. He was for state health care. He is for porn profits. He thinks he is becoming a god...
And Republicans would have felt compelled to support the traitor from their party.
