The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016.
In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobodys out there talking me and McCain have been talking I may just jump in to get to make these arguments, Graham said.

Split the RINO vote and allow the conservative to emerge victorious. If there is one thing that the GOPe/Rove-et-al do extremely well (besides losing), it is having the discipline to field a limited set of RINO(s) at a time, and having the an on-deck batter waiting for the current one to strikeout. OTOH, the GOPtp has a unique way of putting candidates on the field - 20 at a time run onto the field, most of them trying to stand at the same time on the pitcher's mound.

My dream 2016 primary season: Romney, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee and Lindsay Graham running against the sole conservative Ted Cruz! It's all fun and games until Romney/Bush/Christie/Huckabee becomes the nominee.

Well... he’ll get the gay vote, at least.

maybe the DC RINO establishment will recruit Carl Rove to run too.
Just speculating: The Republican National Committee will likely change some rules in order to block Ted Cruz from having a fair chance at becoming the party nominee. What I mean by that is the establishment will pay off enough of the delegates and Cruz's loss will be attributed to the rules change. As well, the DC establishment and the MSM will hammer Cruz for being borne in Canada. All of this if we even have a 2016 presidential election.

Awesome! Come on Jeb - please run as well. We need a RINO slugfest to split the RINO vote. Then we need a single conservative candidate - namely Ted Cruz.

Run RINOs, run! Wow, the fence has fallen down around the RINO zoo. Discipline is out the window.
Go Tea Party!

The more these pols hint that they might run, the more we see how much of a shambles the GOP/Republican Party is in.
I posted this in 2008 and in 2012: Are these (in the GOP primaries) the best the GOP can muster?
If so, the GOP is in deeper trouble than they know.

Hawkish? Yeah 'ish' as in squish.
I recall how Graham was almost in tears as he complained about the treatment of prisoners at Abu Ghraib, after he saw the pictures of some of the paid-consultants' antics.
Notice, Lindsey, that ISIS is not that emotional over their treatment of prisoners.
