The circle of people who have come into contact with Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan is rapidly expanding, jumping from 18 to 80 early today and then leaping to 100, according to Texas health officials.

Suppose contacts only contract Ebola at a 5% rate.
That’s 5 people he has infected.
How many people have those 5 people infected? 25?
And those 25?
Anyone ready for a quarantine yet?
Moving up now quickly, as predicted. 100 by tomorrow will seem inconsequential.
The Dale Carnegie of the infected African set.
It is reported that Duncan was vomiting wildly outside the apartment complex. Who cleaned up the vomit? Does the family have their own washer/dryer or do they go to a laundromat? What about garbage pick-up? And what about when the family went grocery shopping (touching all those vegies)? President Obola screwed us big time.
Quarantine won’t happen if it is determined that those quarantined are disproportionately represented by people of preferred PC demographics.
Yep... Right now it’s doubling every 3 weeks in West Africa.
I guess that is what we can expect here if it’s airborne?
Perhaps that is the 18 new people?
Quarantine? Would not Obola himself have to know about this. How would he be informed, intelligence briefing which he does not read. Newspaper, well, the articles are just releases from his PR staff and contain dribble. He is not even in DC, he is out on the fund raiser trail....got to raise funds for his coming library now.
I checked out the apartment he was staying at - The Ivy Apartments - which looks like a major dump. The largest one is a 2 bedroom with 1100 sq ft for the victim, his girlfriend, and 5 kids to stay in. Don’t tell me they’re not gonna be symptomatic any day now!
No, that's not likely and it's not airborne. The single biggest reason why ebola continues to spread in Africa is that there aren't enough hospital or clinic beds for patients - so they stay on the street or home with families. I'm not aware of that being a problem in the United States. People who seek and receive prompt medical attention are unlikely to spread the disease.
Captain Trips is here.
Have fun! This is The Stand, folks.
Hawaii is half way around the world from ebola stricken Africa.
How sick was this person while they traveled?
How many planes did this person have to ride on to get to Hawaii?
How many people did they come into contact with on planes, airports and in Hawaii?
This case almost seems deliberate...
From the link:
Weeks said that the family is concerned that Duncan was admitted to the hospital and put in isolation on Sunday, but hasn’t received the experimental Ebola drugs.
I dont understand why he is not getting the Zmapp, Weeks said.
The s.o.b. non-citizen starts an epidemic here and wants the experimental drugs?
People who seek and receive prompt medical attention are unlikely to spread the disease.
Quit trying to ruin everyone's fun.
WE'RE ALL DOOMED!!!
Want the truth? Can America handle the truth? Does anyone really want to know the truth? Want to guess? Hundreds? Thousands? Millions? Your best guess? I do not know so will not guess.
I wonder how long this virus survives outside the body, say on a door knob?
I think this should be important information to disseminate.
yep, it is the end of the Cold War!
