The suspect in the deadly Pennsylvania state trooper ambush earlier this month has been leaving a trail for police and, at times, wears adult diapers to enable him to hunker down for long periods of time like a sniper, police said Thursday.

I think the adult diaper thing is some sort of psy-ops aiming at a response. I mean if a guy is in the middle of the Pocono forests, I doubt he is concerned about taking a piss or a dump. I lived there with a summer home for decades. You could hide a hundred people in an acre and never see them. As for heat sensing cameras, there are about 4 deer per acre in that part of the state. That doesn't include the bears, caves to hide in, and rivers or streams to walk which hide your whereabouts.

If you don't want to be found in the Pocono forests, you won't be found.

Once the leaves drop, the odds on the side of the state will improve. Then deer season will bring enough idiots from the cities into the woods to really muck things up.

Ever study the law enforcement quest for Eric Rudolph? Exact same assets were used. The dogs ran off a cliff to their deaths. The FLIR camears from the air resulted in quite the deer count and spotted bears.

In the end, Rudolph was found three years later eating out of a dumpster right in the town they were based looking for him.
