WATCH How This Gutsy First Of A Kind Fighter Pilot Is Blowing Up Both ISIS Targets And Stereotypes

Even as women in parts of the Arab world fight the prohibition against their driving a car on public roads, one extraordinary Arab woman is driving an F-16 in the fight against Islamic State terrorism.
Fox News confirms that 35-year-old Major Mariam Al Mansouri the first female air force pilot from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has taken part in U.S.-led attacks on ISIS targets in Iraq in Syria this week.

I hope she has a bodyguard.
What you say may very well be true statistically, but that doesn’t make it absolutely true for all people. Men are taller, statistically, than women, but individual women can be much taller than individual men, the average male height, or even a tall male height. I think charges of racism and sexism arise from the misuse of statistical quantities to imply subgroup absolutes, as you have done. That pilot in particular might very well be able to wipe the floor with you on spatial reasoning tasks, for all you or I know.
Am I the only one who thinks its a bad idea to identify pilots and publish their names all over the internet? They don’t do it for special forces, so why would they do it for other highly trained and exceptionally valuable military personnel?
Then there need to be more women warriors like Major Mariam Al Mansouri!
Might by psyops.
dear cheering liberals,
posting her name and picture is a death sentence for her and her family
Good on you, Major Mariam! Give ‘em hell.
I think the UAE was going to become a target anyway.
I hope she and her family live in a secure area. Some goat breeder will try and track her down. I question revealing her name.
Her and her family are targets by ISIS anyway; it’s not like her being Arab will save her from the butchering fanatics.
ABC’s Greg Gutfeld got a huge laugh when he said:”She sure can fly her aircraft , but like most women , she has to get someone else to park it for her.”
They are correct.
I’ll bet she flys like a girl ...
Looks like the king of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, already took care of that.
According to the Wikipedia, Sheikh Mohammed's senior wife is Shaikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, his first cousin and herself a member of Dubai's ruling family, whom he married in 1979 in a grand wedding ceremony with lavish celebrations which cost around $100 million. Sheikha Hind is mother of 12 of the Sheikh's children including his heir-apparent, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum (born 1982), the Crown Prince of Dubai.
I know some friends who spent several of the last ten years living in Abu Dhabi. He worked for Raytheon building a missile defense system for the UAE. They have been concerned about the Iranians among others for some time now. He was a former Lt. Coronel in the USAF.
Good for the UAE; I admire how a prince is standing up and fighting to protect his country and stop ISIS and of course, sending a woman fighter is amazing.
About 75% of crashes are due to pilot error. Female accidents are more often due to mishandling the airplane, whereas male crashes are more often due to taking stupid risks. Overall, male pilots are more likely to be involved in fatal crashes.

The above is based on studies of general aviation pilots. Obviously, fighter pilots, male or female, would be way to the right on the bell curves of aptitude.
