Hundreds of military veterans received marijuana free of charge on Saturday. The unusual event included free medical marijuana and edibles.
Organizers designed the event specifically for veterans, but members of the public were also welcome.
A handful of Denver area businesses teamed up for the event specifically for veterans, but members of the public were also welcome. Hundreds lined up to get into the largest event ever hosted by Operation Grow4Vets.

we can thank the liberals, socialists and liberaltarians for trying to push anarchy into the country, after all they think the country is all about them and what they want.
There could be ways to use pot that would not be sinful. You can’t say that about gay marriage.
Yes, I tell. Once one comes out from behind a bunch of cultural snot to note that during American’s Puritan age they didn’t even bother to rail at it like alcohol.
bump
To start, any genuinely medicinal use.
There were “public houses” (bars) in the “Puritan Days”, and researchers have found 2 that were owned by women. Women in the Plymouth Colony had more freedom and rights than in England at the time.
They might have “railed” against drunkeness but I bet they would have railed against drugs the same way.
I’d like to think so-they never were in any trouble, thank God, and are decent hard working adults.
I drink beer and wine once in a while, smoke the occasional cigarette-always have, so did my husband.
Haven’t had a puff from a joint in many years, and likely won’t if it is legal-I committed to a natural diet and lifestyle many years ago-the sometime alcohol and tobacco are my only vices, since I’m single/widowed now. I do not do illicit or prescription drugs-seldom even take aspirin. I lead a dull life...
I have tried the stuff in my youth; more than just tried it. It killed my short-term memory and increased my appetite. Been close to two decades without it and do not miss it.
Hahaha!
So do I.
I go to daily Mass, thanks to my Saudi Muslim boss (when my husband and I were living in Saudi Arabia working for ARAMCO) but THAT'S another story.
God bless "dull."
There IS always a SMALL container of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream to scarf devour enjoy.
I'd be interested in hearing that as well.
I don’t even approve of selling cigarettes, beer, or chewing tobacco to kids. That’s a parental decision.
I can’t help but think it’s just the Democratic party trying to enslave people once again.
This issue has nothing to do with homosexuality or sin.
Is it okay if the parents decide to sleep with the kids too?
I mean somewhere along the way morality will be imposed by someone. That is what LAW is.
You implied that providing marijuana to vets was a bad thing. I asked whether that would be any different than a free beer for Vets, which I'm SURE has been often done at bars everywhere. I can only conclude that you wish to use the police power of the government to impose your moral will upon others. If you don't like Marijuana, then don't do it. I don't... I have no problem with giving others the freedom to do so, if they desire that.
...And thank you for your blessings. I need all of those I can get! LOL Have a good one!
I don't think that's their motive.
I believe it's that they expect everyone to suffer the consequences of their OWN behavior so that government cannot have the means nor the excuse to harass them or theirs.
And by extension, you or yours.
It's likely that your brother and sister would have found another means by which to spin out if they didn't have drugs available to them.
Broken people usually stay broken until they find God.
“Is it okay if the parents decide to sleep with the kids too?”
Whew, that escalated quickly! The counter is to ask you if the parents have any say so on anything, or should the government do everything? Obviously, the answer is somewhere in between, and this sort of all or nothing reasoning is silly.
