Yes, I tell. Once one comes out from behind a bunch of cultural snot to note that during American’s Puritan age they didn’t even bother to rail at it like alcohol.

There were “public houses” (bars) in the “Puritan Days”, and researchers have found 2 that were owned by women. Women in the Plymouth Colony had more freedom and rights than in England at the time.

They might have “railed” against drunkeness but I bet they would have railed against drugs the same way.
