Democratic activist Sandra Fluke -- who is running for a state Senate seat in California -- leads her opponent by seven percentage points, according to a new survey from the Fluke campaign.
Forty-one percent of voters in the poll of Californias 26th Senate District said they prefer Fluke. Ben Allen, a member of the Santa Monica-Malibu school board, took 34 percent. Twenty-five percent of voters in the Los Angeles area district remain undecided.
Fluke holds advantages among Democratic voters (53 percent-25 percent) and non-affiliated voters (44 percent-28 percent). Her opponent leads among Republicans (58 percent-15 percent).

You would think that at my advanced age I would know better than to open my mouth in order to insert my foot in it. Thanks for the FYI.
California isn't normal.
Once she wins her state senate seat, she can start preparing for a presidential run in 2016.
Wanted to see where she is FROM (PA). Throughout the google links, she is referred to as a “social justice attorney” and, further, that she has DEDICATED HER CAREER to social justice and women’s issues. She’s been out of law school for TWO YEARS ... so her ENTIRE CAREER = 2 YEARS.
Not the presidency. She is on the fast track to replace either Feinstein or Boxer, who are both getting a bit long in the tooth. If Rush had kept his mouth shut, she would be forgotten today.
She wanted to try for the US Congress seat being vacated by Waxman. Someone talked her down to State Assembly.
Correct. There is a pecking order within both political parties, and she was told to wait her turn. But they had something ready for her virgin political effort. (No joke intended with the word “virgin”.)
yeah, she’ll build up her resume in the State Senate then go for the U.S. Senate from CA. She’s got time, AND the idiot voters of CA on her side.
If Fluke wins, watch which committees she gets assigned to. That will give you an idea as to just how fast her “fast track” is being set.
Of course she does, it’s Freak - A - Fornia.
Californication......what else?
Good point. The D’s seem to be promoting her, but if you watched her public appearances during O’s ‘12 campaign, she attracted VERY few people. So she may not have what it takes to move up the electoral political ladder. Time will tell, and these committee assignments will provide great clues.
If she has an abortion she can run for president.
Californicate deserves a gaping labia slut like her. She is an ambulatory infective pus bucket.
Oh okay, my mistake.
I thought she got some kind of radical feminist degree at Berkeley before she went to Georgetown to harass a religious school.
Please ping me with any Southern California related articles. Thank you!

If she is assigned to a committee that addresses women’s and children’s issues, it means she isn’t being taken all that seriously. In every state legislature, it’s the committee that handles transportation pork which is where the real power resides. If she gets assigned to a transportation committee, it means they are willing to trust her with real power.
