MARYSVILLE, Ohio - A Marysville resident says she is upset a local golf course that is visible from state Route 38 hosted a golf tournament where there were topless women present.
On Friday afternoon, Jamele Wenger says she was driving on S.R. 38, near the Marysville Golf Club, with her 13-year-old son in the vehicle when he noticed a topless woman hanging off of a golf cart.
According to the course management, Vanity, which advertises itself as a gentleman's club, had rented out the course for the afternoon for its second annual golf outing.
"All you could see was her thong but nothing else on top, and I wasn't sure what was going on and why she was hanging off the golf cart the way she was and two men were driving, and then my son noticed, but I still wasn't quite sure what was going on, but you could see her top and everything I mean there was nothing on" said Wenger.
There were 40 golfers and ten young women entertainers.
K.J. Kopras of Vanity tells NBC4 the first hole is located by the road, but the others being used by the group are surrounded by woods.
He says the group only played the first nine holes after they received complaints during last year's outing. The other nine holes back up to homes where the group was visible to children.
Kopras declined an interview on camera, as did the owner of the course.
The Union County prosecutor tells NBC4 that there were likely no laws broken during Friday's golf outing. It is not illegal for women to go topless in the State of Ohio.
Though no laws were broken, Wenger says she is still unhappy with what happened.
"I was outraged because I thought: Why are they doing that right here by the road?' Then my son was with me, and he's a minor, and we try to be very careful with what he watches and the things that we bring into our house," said Wenger. "It was so close to the road and there's buses going by because buses are driving by and it's happening right after school so children are driving by at the same time."
The owner of the course tells NBC4 she is reconsidering allowing the group to host any future outings at her course. On Tuesday, she said she received a complaint from a nearby school.
Virginia National did that a few years back. Couldn’t see anything from the road so the newsies flew over in their piloted drones so they could get a better look. Oh the horror of it all. If I had only known about it. And from 3000 ft all of the girls looked good.
Gotta say...I’d love to see the follow-thru on her swing.
And we were strokin’.....
Umm. It was a Gentlemen’s Club who rented the course. In other words, nudie bar!
Pictures?
DANG!
“just putting at night - with the fifteen-year-old daughter of the dean........”
There were 40 golfers and ten young women entertainers.
*********
Ten foursomes with one topless entertainer per group.
So, are one's nipples to be considered "private parts?"
And remember that the law refers only to "private parts," and does not differentiate between male and female "private parts."
Regards,
wow.... thank you!!
You must have ESP!
I was thinking of that exact scene from “Animal House” when I posted.
(The scene where the girl dressed like a playboy bunny came crashing through the ceiling of the boy’s bedroom from the party above).
How many strokes penalty for teeing off too soon?.....................
Yup, just like that. Nice.
now you have to watch out for boobie traps
That's nothing. I was barely 7 hours old, and I saw my first boob. I saw boobs regularly for the next few years.
Tell us, dearie...
Did you breast feed your son?
Since a woman’s breasts are not directly part of the act of procreation (but do make it a lot more fun!) they are not private parts but rather secondary sexual characteristics, according to G. Gordon Liddy who often discussed on his show the legal & societal aspects of female toplessness.
The applicable law is not entirely clear on this matter.
