I’ve also read some scuttlebutt that he’d make a fine VP also.
I could live with either, although I’d lean more towards Atty General. The VP position is too much fluff.

Yeah, I agree. I think there definitely fireworks when Starr was directly asked “What was your purpose there?” When Starr deigned to answer in circumlocution, I think Gowdy will next be asking Hillary, and if she refuses to show, will perhaps leak some of the CIA-related information in order to damn her.

Gowdy basically admitted he didn’t want to do these hearings and that it was assigned to him and he will try and do a good job anyway. I just heard a quote on the radio and it sounded like his heart wasn’t in it. However I did not hear the whole hearings themselves so maybe he redeemed himself later

We the People deserve to have the truth exposed including who were the traitors involved during the battle and the subsequent cover-up...and the life (or death) punishments imposed.

Is there going to be a new thread for today’s hearings?
I just watched Trey Gowdy on Special Report. If he delivers what he says he is going to do, then I will be mightily impressed. He is very sharp. He listens and responds to questions. I think the best way for the Republicans to play this is to be assiduously non-partisan. The facts, I believe, will be devastating on their very face.
