Speaking during a press conference from Eastern Europe early Wednesday morning, President Obama said justice will be served for the beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff yesterday and that ISIS must be "destroyed." However, shortly after those remarks, Obama said he is working with coalition forces to turn ISIS into a "manageable problem."
"We know that if we are joined by the international community, we can continue to shrink ISIL's sphere of influence, its effectiveness, its financing, its military capabilities to the point where it is a manageable problem," Obama said. "Our objective is clear, and that is to degrade and destroy ISIL so it is no longer a threat not just to Iraq but also the region and to the United States."
Obama: ISIS a 'Manageable Problem,' If 'International Community' Comes Together
Obama's objective or strategy couldn't be more opaque (or non-existent as the White House admitted last week). Is the goal to "destroy" ISIS? Or to "manage" the terror army? If only the international community approves of course. One thing is clear, President Obama has no interest in the United States taking the lead on ISIS or destroying them on our own.

I think by manageable he means keeping it out of the complaint media. That means if ISIS executes another American journalist on camera that would be unmanageable. BUt if ISIS continues to decapitate six year old Christians that is manageable since the media doesn’t care.
That will definitely send shivers down those ba$tards spines . . . this limp-wristed, pipe-stem armed so-called leader of the free world will show them.
Hopefully, he’ll personally go and hold one on one no strings attached talks with them like he promised to do back in 2008 with Iran prior to the 2008 elections.
And he said they were no longer a problem after he killed Osama.
Then he failed to leave troops in Iraq....something we have done after every war.
Everywhere Obama has gone, he has opened the door to these murderous ba******.
The putz still doesn’t get it.
If they are all dead, that’s manageable.........
"They can be managed. IS is my child.
I gave IS its Caliph and Generals."
Carpet bomb these B@$%$#@! into the stone age! Who wants to manage the unmanageable. They will just return in no time to take up where they left off, same as Hamas! These Ppl need to be obliterated!
Manageable.
Interesting wording.
If you can manage it, then just finish it. I think he wants to keep it around.
Obama is flying cover for ISIS, per Jarrett’s direction. But who’s giving Jarrett her orders? Qatar? Turkey? Iran? Paki ISI?
John Kerry is on the way!
What we need is an Office of Head Removal Management. The OHRM paperwork alone will cause terrorism to grind to a halt.
What Would Reagan Do?
Sigh. I miss the man every single day.
Doctor to patient — “Let’s see, we can either cure your cancer or reduce it to a manageable level—the choice is yours.”
Shuckin' and jivin' (or shucking and jiving) is a slang term for the behavior of joking and acting evasively. More generally, the term can also refer to the speech and behavioral mechanisms adopted in the presence of an authoritative figure.[1] Shuckin' and jivin' usually involves clever lies and impromptu storytelling, used to one-up an opponent or avoid punishment. The term is also used in the Southern United States referring to deceit or mischief involving lies.[citation needed]
Looks like the strategy is to stop public opinion from taking any action to save western civilization from the next caliphate.
If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck its an Obama shucking and jiving duck.
Read between the lines.
