Are Stereotypical Good Boys More Likely to Be Gay?
Posted on 08/29/2014 8:32:22 AM PDT by pinochet
In case you have not noticed, opposition to gay rights and gay marriage is weakening, even in conservative Christian churches. One friend suggested that many unmarried men who are heavily involved in church activities are stereotypical good boys, who maintain long periods of avoidance of heterosexual sex, which makes them more inclined to gay feelings. Is this true? A lot of men involved in church choirs seem more feminine than average.
The grandson of the famous televangelist, Oral Roberts, recently announced he is gay: http://www.christianpost.com/news/oral-roberts-grandson-discusses-coming-out-as-a-homosexual-52483/
Sons of many famous conservative Christians are ending up gay, such as the sons of Randall Terry, Phyllis Schlafly, etc. Jerry Falwell's Liberty University has ended public opposition to gay marriage, according to this article: http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2013/03/falwells-college-goes-quiet-on-gay-marriage.html

What do you think of the theory that bad boys are more likely to be straight, but good boys are more likely to be gay?

I don't think it makes any difference.
Fluoridation, on the other hand, will make you as queer as a three dollar bill.

I think they’re closeted heteros, playing it gay to attract more members.

BS. It is more propaganda that gays are the epitome of virtue. Ask any cop, and he will tell you that a large number of domestic violence calls involve homosexuals. It is not a normal lifestyle.

The Spartans, Ottoman warrior sultans, SA Freikorpers and Roman legionnaires and the Theban Sacred Band were all examples of stone called killers and bad boys and were all as queer as a 3 dollar bill.

At a VERY general level, I tend to agree. But keep in mind, that is because I see our cultura as “at war with men”. So the more male you are, the more “bad” you are.

One friend suggested that many unmarried men who are heavily involved in church activities are stereotypical good boys, who maintain long periods of avoidance of heterosexual sex, which makes them more inclined to gay feelings. Is this true? I don't know exactly what other guys feel, but when I don't have sex with my wife for a while it heightens my awareness of pretty much anything female. Never had any desire for other men, guarantee that I never will.

Who cares? If someone wants to be a fudge packer, go ahead. What’s average lifespan of a male homosexual? 41 years? Wow, really something to strive for!

They are groomed to be gay by the educational system that tries to squelch any male traits in favor of the female. That will make them more docile.
