St. Louis (CNN) -- The funeral of slain Ferguson, Missouri, teenager Michael Brown was a celebration of his life, a search for meaning in his death and a battle cry to change policing in America.
The Rev. Al Sharpton delivered one of two eulogies during the service, and he had sharp words for those who looted stores and rioted after the teenager was shot.
"You don't understand that Michael Brown does not want to be remembered for a riot. He wants to be remembered as the one that made America deal with how we're going to police in the United States."

Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin. Young men who died long before their time because they went down the wrong path and got caught up with the wrong crowd. Were it not for the robberies, the doobies, the purple drank, both would most likely be alive today to pursue whatever dreams they wished.
90% of our black community is in total denial about this.
Africans can be white too, so for the left to keep calling them African Americans is not correct, but we are dealing with the left who have no idea that there are many countries in Africa or whites can be African too.
When I was a little kid, my mom told me that if a policeman told me to do something, I should do it. I’ve lived my life that way. Why couldn’t Michael Brown and his friend just move from the middle of the street when asked to by the policeman? If he had, he’d still be alive. That one simple act of defiance is responsible for him being where he is.

Rev Al was on the right track with such remarks. Crime is a focus point between blacks and the police. He could have included strong arming merchants for cigars the day the teenager was shot.

He was a bad guy who did some awful things and it caught up with him. The one thing I will agree with the libs on is that he didn’t have to die this way. It’s pretty easy not to die the way he did. Millions and millions of people manage to not die the way he did everyday because they don’t behave like animals. Sadly everything is backwards now. The bad guys are considered good guys and the good guys are considered bad guys. The more good they tell you about him the more obvious it is that his bad behavior was perfectly OK with them.
Yeah he was used to throwing his weight around to get what he wanted, and thought he could intimidate / fight the police officer. He thought wrong.
