Egyptian feminist Aliaa Magda Elmahdy, 23, challenges the strict nature of Islam on her blog and Facebook pages. She went a step further in her protest against the Islamic State (IS) with a photo of Elmahdy and a veiled woman pooping and menstruating on the black IS flag.
Arab nations did not print the photo because the flag states there is no God but Allah. Elmahdy did not explain why she took the photo, but she protests Islamic laws, and IS implements strict Sharia Law. Women must wear full veils and not leave the house without a male relative. The jihadists have even forced shopkeepers to fully veil all mannequins. In Raqqa, Syria, an Islamic State stronghold, a crowd stoned two women to death for allegedly committing adultery.
The majority of Muslims do not agree with IS. Several prominent Muslim leaders and scholars have condemned the terrorist group. However, not everyone agreed with Elmahdys photo, including fellow liberal Muslims.
In 2011, she caused outrage among strict and liberal Muslims when she posed nude in photos on her Facebook. She claimed the photos scream against a society of violence, racism, sexism, sexual harassment and hypocrisy. The secular Muslims did not agree.
This hurts the entire secular current in front of those calling themselves the people of virtue, said secularist Sayyed el-Qimni. "It's is a double disaster. Because I am liberal and I believe in the right of personal freedom, I can't interfere."

So you say.
I didn’t see your words linked to by Drudge.
Prayers are actually the most powerful thing we can do. They Do make miracles.
Everything is better left in God’s Hands. There is no safer, better place to be. But sometimes- often, it’s hard for people to do that. (Me, too)
God Bless you, butterdezillion, and Give you peace.
When the Israelites were at the Red Sea, God told them that their enemies that they saw that day they would never see again, and they had only to be still.
“Be still, and know that I am God...”
So hard to do sometimes.
I’ll keep praying, and trust that if God wants me to do something specific He will let me know what and when.
God bless and keep you too, KGeorge, and give you peace.
Smarter than you, maybe.
Without a doubt.
Not sure why my response to you was deleted, but there likely wouldn’t be publicly-available evidence if this was the strategy so I have no way of knowing whether it is or isn’t, but if it isn’t it should be.
Wow, that’s really cool how that comment of mine got slipped in as if it was there last night instead of this morning. I wonder if this one will work the same way. It’s 9:12am right now. What time will this appear to have posted?
I don’t have my morning eyes on yet apparently. Good grief.
Well, I can't remember the exact post, but maybe it's gone because it contained a suddenly-thought-up conspiracy presented as a sure thing.
No, it was apparently somebody else’s post that got deleted. I must have overlooked my response which was right under your post.
I’ll also overlook your snide insinuations, when the post I thought was deleted was one clearly saying that I DON’T know if this was the plan/strategy. If your angst against “conspiracy theories” goes so far that you think psy-ops attempts to smoke out the opposition would be “too conspiratorial”, then you are way far gone. With that kind of thinking, we must be training our spec ops guys to say please and thank-you because anything more than that would be too “conspiratorial”. lol
No, but I step back when someone says, " I just thought of something--maybe THIS is what's happening. Yes...yes..it's brilliant! What a strategy! They're so smart for doing this."
You’ve never had a lightbulb moment when a particular idea makes sense? Like maybe when you’re playing chess and you finally see how you’ve been set up - recognize the brilliance with which it was done? Or maybe see how you COULD be set up, whether it ever actually happened or not.
I’m sad for you.
This Thread Is Useless Without Extreme Closeup Genitalia Photographs
Nope. She is a Egyptian army spy, contracted by Israel and the USA, pretending to be a double-agent for ISIS (to get contact information from Egyptian Law Enforcement), acting like she is working with Egyptian law enforcement so that they can identify ISIS members.
Now that I could almost believe, because it makes sense. Does Ebola fit into the picture anywhere? If it does, I'd probably be sold.
Smarter, and more in tune with the enemy. The Kurds mixing women soldiers in with those fighting ISIS, for instance, is brilliant use of their knowledge of what ISIS believes - if it’s true that the ISIS Muslims believe a man killed by a woman can’t go to Paradise. It’s akin with letting ISIS know that you’re drenching all your ammunition in pig fat.
We have to be smarter than the enemy. The US under the foreign enemy combatant in our White House is - at best - way too stupid to do anything but advance the cause of ISIS and their ilk. The alternative is that they’ve been allies with ISIS and their ilk all along.
But the Egyptians, Kurds, etc - they mean to win, and that means pulling out all the stops. I’m glad somebody has the will to win, and the smarts to (hopefully) make it happen. They’re not in denial, and they know the stakes are too high to let ego-games get in the way. I wish Americans would learn and get real. Apparently there’s not enough at stake yet...
And menstrual blood IS a technique of our interrogations. Can’t remember where I read it, but a woman was interrogating a terrorist who was defiant. She was instructed by the advisors who know the Muslim culture to reach into her pants, spill red ink onto her fingers, and touch the man with what he thought was menstrual blood. He cowered at the thought of his own uncleanness. It was a way to break him.
There is a reason for the adage, “Know thine enemy.”
Poop also has been a means of vengeance and ridicule for at least one Muslim woman. A woman was kidnapped by a neighboring village and gang-raped by the men of that village. After she was returned to her clan, supposedly humiliated, she told everyone there that the men who raped her had dingleberries - an accusation that quickly spread all over, making the men of that village the laughingstock of the area and resulting ultimately in a ruling by an imam, requiring men to shave the hair by their rectum.
We have to be smarter than our enemy. They cannot tolerate ridicule. The language they speak is blood, gore, power, and filth. Until we’re willing to speak their language right at them, they’ll continue to infiltrate the couth world with stuff we consider beneath our dignity (until there are dead bodies cluttering the place).
They’re afraid of poop and blood? Well, we’re afraid of blood and torture. It’s about time we took it to them like they’re bringing it to us. Blood and torture is their opiate - their means into perpetual sex which they call Paradise. So let’s give them what they’re really afraid of: what makes them too “unclean” to enter the Paradise for which they behead and blow themselves up.
If you think Egyptians are smarter than Americans, tell me why they need our aid.
List the world-changing Egyptian innovations and inventions over the last couple centuries.
What is the per capita ratio of flush toilets versus population?
Yeah, they're freakin' awesome.
You should move there right away.
Ah the flush-toilet measure of intelligence.
Alas, you have defeated me.
