I'm afraid you may be right. While neither he nor Holder fomented or predicted this particular mess they had scripted a response to exploit the first one that broke out.

Consider: thugs in the street demanding a lynching and the bastard tells them not to be "hurtful." The attorney general has reviewed the case several times, and can only promise more investigations. As the thugs transform a city to a wilderness, neither of these 'leaders' bothers to state that our legal system is the only entity that can determine guilt and deliver justice.

Oh yes, and the cops: tanks, snipers, camo and kevlar, storm-trooper helmets, tanks and hummers and kleig-lights and bull-horns, and all they do is watch property burn and businesses get looted. Civil authority has never looked so pathetic and forlorn.
