An Albany area farm which rebuffed efforts by a same-sex couple to hold their wedding at the site has been fined $10,000 and ordered to pay the women $1,500 each for their mental anguish.
In New York State Division of Human Rights v. Liberty Ridge Farm, 10157952/ 10157963, Administrative Law Judge Migdalia Pares of the Bronx rejected the owners' argument that the farm, which is their home, is not a place of public accommodation and is therefore not subject to the anti-discrimination provisions of the Human Rights Law.
the Giffords are considering their next step, including a possible appeal based on the Hobby Lobby ruling.

You have complete control over who may come into your house But that's less true with a business establishment.Funny that. I can think of at least a dozen high end stores, galleries in mid-town Manhattan that have buzzers and armed guards in blazers or fine suits. True, some of those might have discrete tiny plaques that read "By Appoinment Only" but what the hey.

A clear violation of the 1st amendment’s right to peacefully assemble.

"Do they let others?"does it matter?"It shouldn't, unless they charge. And then I'd question their claim that it's not a place of public accommodation.
But still, matters of traditionally questionable morality should not be forced on businesses. It's different than civil rights.

I let people in my house, does that mean I cannot choose not to let someone in my house?
Correct, this is known as “hope and change”. Since you once let someone into your house it would be discrimination to not allow anyone who wants to come in to do so. This is reflected in our open border policy.

So let them host the wedding. And do such a rotten obnoxious job that no LGBT will want to book there again. Make it a miserable affair just within the limits of the law.

I don’t usually ridicule someone’s appearance, but because of the way these two BROADS troubled the people with the farm, they have the insult coming...
