The head of the Senate Intelligence Committee on Friday said the extremist group the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS or ISIL) must be confronted forcefully by the U.S., though she stopped short of calling for boots on the ground.

“It takes an army to defeat an army, and I believe that we either confront ISIL now or we will be forced to deal with an even stronger enemy in the future,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said in a statement.

The group is “operating with military expertise, advancing across Iraq and rapidly consolidating its position,” she added. “Inaction is no longer an option,” according to Feinstein.

By the way, we SHOULD stop ISIS in my opinion. But if she were honest, she would OPENLY ATTACK the Obama regime for creating the conditions that allowed these terrorists to thrive. Obama was warned. Repeatedly.

If we send troops in, it’s going to take a lot of troops. We have to make sure that everybody knows this is Obamas fault.
He certainly was warned, many times, by many people. He knew, that’s why he did it. There’s a reason why he is going back on it, and it’s because he has to at least show a realistic response to ONE SITUATION, or heaven forbid Americans might actually start to get it.

But, we should stop them. Drop some neutron bombs wherever they hide, IMO. The fact of the matter is that this "problem" is only going to be solved by killing most of these Islamonazis. We are not going to kill them by dropping 8 bombs in their general vvicinity. They will only be stopped when they are dead. They are an enemy that worships death; both their enemy's and their own.

They will only be defeated by an all out, no holds barred, invasion of their controlled areas where the rules of engagement are to kill first and ask questions later and take no prisoners.

Since we aren't willing to even entertain an all out war, we have already lost this one.

From what I’ve heard Obama authorized a total of 8 bombs to be dropped, and then he went on vacation. Unless those were nuclear bombs, this is going to do nothing more than just embolden these monsters.

If that is the kind of war we intend to fight, then we have already lost it.

Nothing short of total unrestrained warfare is going to work, and no one in this world is willing to release the dogs of that kind of war. We are not even willing to release the hamsters of war, so how are we planning on winning?

Yep, that's where she and her cohorts have been funneling all the money lately. Let them fight. I do agree with her on several levels though. If you really want to defeat them you are probably going to have to go in on the ground and root them out. Physically take it away from them, drive them out or kill them. Other option would be to hit them with a few tactical nukes. Only way to be thorough enough from the air.

The interesting thing is she sees, or claims to see, the necessity for parity in the fight. Army vs army. Guess what Di, that applies at all levels, including personal protection. So Di, you going to stop trying to disarm law abiding citizens? After all, it takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun.
