WASHINGTON Following the quick collapse of the cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the White House not to force a truce with Palestinian militants on Israel.
Sources familiar with conversations between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, say the Israeli leader advised the Obama administration not to ever second guess me again on the matter. The officials also said Netanyahu said he should be trusted on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.
An Israeli official said the Netanyahu government viewed both Hamas and Qatar as having violated the commitment given to the U.S. and the U.N. and that it expected the international community to take practical steps as part of a strong and swift response, especially regarding the return of the abducted soldier.
In a phone call with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro, Netanyahu vented his anger, according to people familiar with the call.
Netanyahu told Shapiro the Obama administration was not to ever second-guess me again and that Washington should trust his judgment on how to deal with Hamas, according to the people. Netanyahu added that he now expected the U.S. and other countries to fully support Israels offensive in Gaza, according to those familiar with the call. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter by name.
They said Netanyahu made similar points to Kerry, who himself denounced the attack as outrageous, saying it was an affront to assurances to respect the cease-fire given to the United States and United Nations, which brokered the truce.

If Israel wanted to ‘wipe them out’ they would all be gone. Israel's a first world ethical country and the Palestinians are third world losers. It would take nothing to 'wipe them out'.
That said, it appears the Palestinians reward kindness and tolerance with hatred and jealousy. They need to be moved out of Gaza and into a country that could be formed by Arab neighbors donating land to them.

To U.S.? Um, no ... he’s speaking to Obama. Nice try at vilifying Netanyahu and stirring up friction between these two countries, NY Post.

No peace with the Palestinians is possible unless and until they are defeated in such a manner as to make denials impossible. Defeat has to be accompanied by a lot of slaughter because that is the only thing the barbaric minds of the Palestinians can understand. Unfortunately there will be collateral damage, but the Palestinians all voted for Hamas to lead them to martyrdom or victory over the hated Israelis.
IMHO there is no saving this country without wholesale repentance before God by the people. It is extremely unlikely to happen, but I hope for the best. Like you said, this is the leadership the people asked for.
The cultural Marxists have so divided and balkanized the people, there is almost no common ground between us and them. Those who celebrate the flesh and those who mortify the flesh.
The look on Netanyahu’s face really says it all, doesn’t it?
It may be the only time I do so, but agree with Joan Rivers on her comment that if New Jersey were bombing New York, New York would take out New Jersey. We have no right yo tell Israel to just grin and bear it while that would not be our own policy.
The muslim in the White House further complicates the issue through his insulting treatment of Israel's prime minister and his miserable interfering secretary of state.
Israel is our only ally in the middle east and we have the privilege of supporting her right to exist.
Mr. Netanyahu knows what needs to be done and if the wimp in the white house doesn't have the testicular fortitude to support Israel's efforts to protect her citizens, the he should not hamper those efforts, but rather stand back and watch how a REAL leader handles the situation.
I stand with Israel!
Do not even answer the phone Bibi....
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
The idiot left will fall for Hamas’ lies over and over and over again.
Someone could write a story with a leader like that and it would be rejected as implausible
Just look at that guys face.
How could ANYBODY take John Kerry seriously?
What did he do have filler placed all around his jaw line because the “Why the long face” jokes hurt his feelings?
What a vain dooooshbag.
He looks like a complete FOOL.
I bumped Kerry at a 7/11 on Cape Cod back in the 80’s.
Maybe one of the biggest blow hard obnoxious dick H’s that I have ever met...
I can’t prove it directly but it looks to me like Ben punctuated his spiel with about 1000 fresh 155mm rounds on the South end of Gaza. Up to this point the Israelis have worked only on northern and eastern Gaza. Hitting Rafah would be an up-grade. Each one of those 155 rounds should have a note on it: Stick this in your Ramadamadingdong.
What, say? Well the Quataris could say the check is NOT in the mail. That would stop it cold. And the Grand Kenyan could get this done by cruising a couple DDG’s off the coast of Qatar——if he wasn’t one of them.

Donating land shouldn’t be necessary. From the gitgo these sliders were all refugees from Jordan, Soddy, Egypt and a couple other ratholes. They stayed in Gaza early on because they were paid to stay. They oughta simply be given maps home. And one last warning about incoming.
Kerry’s face? I have it on good authority that he chews FLUBBER. Well, maybe the authority is shaky but the result is about right.
God Bless Israel!
Let Israel finish the job!
