I did indeed Sally Forth this morning, Kathy! Through the Sally Port at 0552 and into the Office at 0700. We had beautiful weather today - our overnight low was 50F.
I haven't been able to walk the last couple of days - too much pain. :(

Fighting fires on a plane is serious business, as well as a ship, OR fuel storage tanks.
Fuel tanks are a bear...keeping the tanks cool is top priority so the tank won’t change shape and dump its contents. And, they are usually close together and a bear to fight. Not fun at all!!

Lots of porch sitting, no hummer action! I think I will have to tempt them with a filled hummer feeder.
We did have another type of action, however. Three cars were totaled in front of the house late afternoon. A woman was driving by, was distracted in some way, (texting) we don’t
know. Anyway, three cars totaled, imagine that. No one was harmed. Thank God!
State Police were here, the wrecker was called to haul away the damaged autos.
My daughter was mowing the lawn and had just left the accident area just seconds before it happened.
This delayed our supper by several hours so I opted to buy sub sandwiches for supper. My daughter was mowing the lawn and had just left the accident area just seconds before it happened.

Wednesday’s are always great!
I did, however, get caught in a torrential downpour about 5:00PM.

Thank goodness your daughter had just vacated the coming accident scene. Not the kind of action for which one usually has a front row seat.
Glad no one was hurt.

Yep - visiting around, being taken to new pubs with gf’s ... there’s a real neat animal place just outside of Brisbane called Lone Pine - walk among the skippies (small wallaby’s) and the birds are fantastic. Having a BBQ night before leaving ... sad to go but happy to come home. It was an adventure, no doubt. Ta for now, Janey

OMGosh I wish you could & thank you!
I have an appt. @ 9:00 Sat as my hairdresser is going to France for a month. I waited too long as it has been almost three months.
A fresh cut feels great!!!
To: AZamericonnie
I’m home, hair freshly cut....do you feel better? I got you a trim to last til Saturday. She bought a duplex, shop on one side, rental on the other.
He husband walked thru, and next I heard the lawnmower.
VOILA!! I asked if they wanted 2 lawnmowers. We went outside, asked him, and he said yes. They came by tonight....2 lawnmowers gone, and he said they were good ones, 1 chainsaw, and a wheelbarrow, too. Now they have a good home and are gone from here. AND he will try to sell the Honda snow thrower. That one I will take money for...
I asked the neighbor a couple times if he wanted them, but he didn’t come get them. His loss.
