On Fox News Sunday, Republican writer George Will said that America should let all of the illegal immigrant juveniles from Central America remain and ensure they are allowed to "go to school and get a job."
"My view is that we have to say to these children, 'Welcome to America. You're going to go to school and get a job and become Americans,'" Will declared. "We have 3,141 counties in this country. That would be 20 per county. The idea that we can't assimilate these 8-year-old criminals with their teddy bears is preposterous."
Will was asked to respond to Republicans who, like a majority of Americans in multiple national polls, want to deport the illegal immigrant juveniles, 90% of whom are teenagers and not "8-year-old criminals with their teddy bears."
There have been nearly 60,000 illegal immigrant juveniles who have been apprehended since October of last year. Federal officials expect 150,000 more will be caught in the next fiscal year....

ONLY when you house 10 of them yourself GEORGIE...FU GW
George, give me your address and I’ll deliver you one of those illegals and let you put your money where your mouth is.
What a beltway insider he is. Heads must be exploding across America tonight. People like him are the reason why there’s hardly any public spokespeople to admire. My head hurts. Thanks, George for your remarks!
I went to an all-county high-school. We had a graduating class of 60. So who is going to assimilate whom in those rural areas?
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
Rand Paul's immigration speech...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reformLatinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...[Posted on 04/21/2013 1:52:42 PM PDT by SoConPubbie]
[but he's not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
Oh good hat a relief. George Will has gone back to his unfathomable self. All is right with the world
Well George except they are mostly 16 year old gangbangers who can’t spell dope and have infectious TB.
Everyday I am more convinced that Texas should not be run from DC.
Will’s been dead to me for years.
Intellectual has been.
It’s not 20 per county, you effin hump
Try thousands. That adults, teens and a couple kids under 12 years of age.
Then there are 390 thousand who came here during the same time.
so you are ignoring the real and larger problem.
Idiot.
George Will is not living in reality - the last thing the Obama administration / Democrats would want to allow to occur, if they were to stay, is getting them a proper education - because if that were to occur they could possibly end up becoming Republicans.
<><> put them in foster care,
<><> charge the parents with criminal negligence,
<><> force them to spend $$thousands in legal fees if they ever want to see them again, or regain custody.

What is completely ignored by "advocates" is that the border invasion is VERY aggressive criminal behavior.
Criminologists analyzing the border invasion would see dangerous precedents: patterns of sinister behavior---individuals from savage cultures w/ a dangerous propensity for violent crimes and serial criminal activity.
Thanks for the ping liz...
Dementia is kicking in hard for Mr. Will. Say good night, George.
