A State Department official who just returned from a seven-week trip to Iraq, said the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)or the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL)is no longer just a terrorist group.
ISIL is no longer simply a terrorist organization, Brett McGurk, deputy assistant secretary for Iraq and Iran at the U.S. Department of State, said at a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Wednesday. It is now a full-blown army seeking to establish a self-governing state through the Tigress (sic) and Euphrates Valley in what is now Syria and Iraq.

It’s nice to see somebody adding jobs due to Obama.
and some people still say O is ineffective in the WH!?
How long before we start sending them aid?
Will Obama become the new Caliph?
They probably treat their vets better than Obama does. At least they get promised 72 virgins.
Bump
We need to be applying strategic bombing arch light strikes wherever they can be targeted in their entire declared territory . Our Gov won’t engage ? Pull them out of there and replace them with those that will . The world can’t for anyone’s dithering and golf games . When will the folks in our Armed Forces get this ? Hello ? It’s time
I would like to request that General James Conway become the new President of the United States , by emergency declaration .
Don’t worry ISIS, behind the scenes Obama and his cronies will be sending you “Aide” just like they are sending Hamas “Aide” wink wink
Which in a sane world would be known as a 'target-rich environment.'
“At least they get promised 72 virgins.”
LOL...the Bible says there is no sex in the hereafter, so maybe there are 72 virgins in hell. But like Obama Care, it’s something you get that you pay dearly for (death panels), and that you cannot use after all!
Does the State Dept represent ISIS as it does
Hamas, the Moslem Brotherhood, and the ‘rebels’
in its and Obama’s civil war against the American people?
A lot of guys complain there is no sex in the here and now. They won’t be disappointed, I guess. LOL
The only way the Hero of Benghazi will recognize an Islamic terrorist is if he has one as a caddy.
Guys aren’t the only ones complaining....about the here and now...lol
I think one of the Imam’s made that 72 virgin thing up to trick the suicide bombers...I don’t see the Imam’s strapping on the bomb, do you?
Obama wanted to bomb assad on behalf of these guys about a year ago. That would have made us their air force.
No, the Imams just rape little kids and then declare them “dirty” and want them killed.
It was the kid’s fault, dontchaknow.
The Bible actually says that they "neither marry nor are given in marriage" in the hereafter.
The Bible also says that there is a lot of sex outside of marriage...not necessarily approved by God.
We already have sent the “Army of the ISIS Caliphate” a good deal of aid. They just pick up the weapons and materiel dropped by the Iraqi army as they are either annihilated or flee in panicked retreat.
Actually, our earlier attempt to send them aid, while they were still pretty much engaged in Syria, went a little awry when the events of September 11, 2012 got out of hand. The original intent was to ship the weaponry no longer needed for the “pacification” of Libya to Syria, to be used by the various “liberators” arrayed against Bashar al-Assad, among which was to be this really fanatical group, now the self-styled Caliphate. But the holders and custodians of those weapons got a little restive and resistant to giving up this cache of war materiel, and we had the shootout, which caused the Obama High Command no little degree of consternation, as it wasn’t supposed to happen this way.
There is a chain that ties all this together, and it is inexorably tightening. The mischief it shall cause so much of the world is going to be a fearsome price to pay for wrongful ideology of several varieties, and the absolute certainty “that could never happen”.
Pessimism and reality often end up at the same place. The rationalization later may be different, but they are bound together, if only because of the human penchant for making all the wrong choices first, before there is only one right thing to do in the end.
