NASA is Pointless, Declares Creationist may be a rather obvious headline, but Ken Ham took it one step further and declared why NASA is pointless: because theyre searching for extraterrestrial life, and according to the Bible, aliens are going to go to hell anyways, so why even bother?
Jesus did not become the GodKlingon or the GodMartian! he declared in a Sunday column on his website, Answering Genesis. Only descendants of Adam can be saved.
(Ham) You see, the Bible makes it clear that Adams sin affected the whole universe. This means that any aliens would also be affected by Adams sin, but because they are not Adams descendants, they cant have salvation.

I don't pretend to know God's plan. I know what God commands us to do.
It’s more important that certain people get to retain their simplistic view of the Bible than that trillions of sentient beings have a chance for eternal life.
If anything, aliens, who are not inheritors of original sin, will go to heaven and be waiting to greet us poor, miserable humans.
Just because some Christians are ignorant, wrong-headed, stupid or mentally ill doesn’t have anything to do with the validity of our faith.
John 10:16
You have to assume that there indeed are intelligent aliens in order for your statement to mean anything.
This is not a surprise for someone who is convinced the Earth is only 7-10,000 thousand years old.
I see no Biblical reference to it being a sin to launch out into space in exploration.
If man can find ways to inhabit space, he should do it. It’s a survivalist endeavor.
The human race would be stupid not to try to ensure that it survives a planet killer. Our knowledge should be preserved elsewhere, not just on planet earth.
You get one loud-mouth, and all of a sudden everyone is supposed to agree with what he launches onto the internet, or another public publication.
Please don’t try to insert sanity to the discussion.
Everyone knows Christians are the only possible idiots on the planet. /s
Klingon Adam and Klingon Eve probably ate the Serpent instead!
Definitely warped theology. We are warned not to add to scripture. Scripture says nothing about alien life (if it’s exists) and their salvation.
Well that’s just stupid.
Maybe the aliens are already in heaven. I remember God talking about only heaven and earth. So if they’re not on earth...
C.S. Lewis Space Trilogy. Wonderful series. Ransom is the guy who goes to three other planets. Haven’t read it in decades but I still remember one point. Only humans are fallen (besides Satan and the demons) and Earth happens to be his home. I was going to say “Lucky us,” but I don’t believe in luck.
Which just made me realize that in the space trilogy Satan does visit the other planets which I don’t believe he is allowed to do, and only humans are made in God’s image.
Why would any alien want to come here when they have the whole universe to explore? Especially knowing there is one planet out of “billions and billions” that they can visit. Hey, earth is the apple of the garden of the universe.
That’s exactly why there are no “aliens”. Jesus would have to go to every planet in the universe and be crucified again.
The Bible says Christ died only once for all.
Also, God does not send anyone to Hell. Those that go there choose to go there.
Shall we consider Mediaite to be a source favorable toward biblical studies and interpretation?
What does that have to do with what Ham said?
Quite.
Although they might have their own version of the Fall, they would be unaffected by Adam’s.
“I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.”
Don’t see a word there, or anywhere else of which I’m aware, that, “Only descendants of Adam can be saved.”
